[VIDEO] Musical The Prince of Tennis: Compilation of all the Tenimyu OB Cast Comment Videos Including Sato Ryuji

Sato Ryuji (2nd Season Shitenhouji Zaizen Hikaru) was originally invited to be a guest at the “Musical The Prince of Tennis Concert Dream Live 2020”. However, due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the entire run of the production was cancelled.

Instead, he (along with several of the graduated Musical Prince of Tennis cast who were also scheduled to be guests at the “Musical The Prince of Tennis Concert Dream Live 2020”) was invited to give a comment during the live stream of the “Musical The Prince of Tennis 3rd Season: National Tournament Seigaku vs Rikkai”.

NOTE: Ryuji’s comment video starts at the timestamp of 28.42. The video will be made available until 18.00 (Japan time) on June 30, 2020.

In addition to casually slipping a quote from Zaizen Hikaru into his comment ♥, here is a partial translation of his comment:

“I really do think of Tenimyu, the Musical The Prince of Tennis, as a production that has changed my, Sato Ryuji’s, life. Even now, from before, I’ve always had that feeling. From now on too, until I die, I think that it will be a production that I definitely can’t forget, that I definitely won’t forget. Probably, it’s the same for everyone who is watching this, thinking that, as expected, [The Prince of] Tennis is the best. I’ll continue from now on too, so from now on too, I leave Tenimyu and Zaizen Hikaru in your care.”

[NEWS] Sato Ryuji will be a Guest on the Radio Programme “TOKYO SPEAKEASY” with Matsuda Makoto

Description:

“TOKYO SPEAKEASY” is a live radio programme where two guests have an unscripted conversation. Done based on the concept of a speakeasy, politicians, entrepreneurs, producers, artists, actors and actresses, as well as other industry professionals are invited to discuss various topics.

For the broadcast, actor Sato Ryuji will be featured with Matsuda Makoto. Matsuda Makoto is the current President and CEO of Nelke Planning Co. Ltd., Chairman of Japan 2.5-Dimensional Musical Association and one of the key people involved in creating the genre of 2.5D (although not officially dubbed as such, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call him the Father of 2.5D).

The both of them have had a cross-talk about 2.5D in the book “Top Runners of 2.5D” where Ryuji was selected as the featured actor of 2.5D along with Matsuda Makoto (producer), Kayano Isamu (director) and Wada Shunsuke (composer).
