I understand the "I will die for you" ship dynamic, but what about the "I will not let you die, I will not let myself die- we will, at any cost, survive" kind of couple?

in all seriousness it's very alienating knowing theres Something Wrong With You. like seeing your mental illness come through in your behaviour and thought processes and knowing it's irrational and unhealthy, knowing other people are reading you as weird or stupid, and not being able to do anything about it is such a lonely experience

I want to also leave here the devs talk about Ceroba breaking Chujin promise and using the serum on Kanako. Because I think Ceroba gets a lot of hate that she doesn't deserve and having the devs saying what they wanted to show can maybe reduce that hate.

Has my opinion? I kinda got what the creators wanted with Ceroba when I played the game.

obviously kanakos falling down is a tragedy, but I feel like not enough people recognise the tragedy that takes place before that, where she has her carefree childhood snatched away from her, where she’s forced into a mindset no kid that young should ever have to experience. watching dalv almost die in the integrity incident, the guilt of not being able to do anything giving her the constant feeling of wanting to “be useful for once.” seeing herself as the reason her dad didn’t “live a long time,” following along with cerobas dangerous idolisation of chujin as if it’s a debt she has to repay. willingly nominating herself as the test subject in a dangerous experiment just for the chance to bring salvation to monsterkind, just like her father. The way she sees herself as expendable… it rips me to shreds
