Whole-heartedly BEGGING writers to unlearn everything schools taught you about how long a paragraph is. If theres a new subject, INCLUDING ACTIONS, theres a new paragraph. A paragraph can be a single word too btw stop making things unreadable

Favorite Autumn Activities of (Almost) Every Scarecrow
BTAS: Loves to read ghost stories around a campfire to the other rogues. His ghost stories are LEGENDARY
TNBA: Loves Corn Mazes and creates his own spooky maze every October for people to enjoy. It’s a “safe” way for him to scare people while avoiding the watchful eye of the Dark Knight
Nolanverse: Absolutely adores the Pumpkin Spice Latte and has been known to “pay it forward” by buying PSLs for others at the local cafe
Arkham Asylum: He is the king of scavenger hunts – every year he hides various objects around the asylum and challenges the inmates vs the doctors to see who can find the most off the list. The Doctors have lost two years in a row
Arkham Knight: Loves going for hayrides because it’s easy on his joints and the fall weather and scenery is quite enjoyable. Sometimes chooses the spooky hayrides just for shits and giggles.
Salecrow: Pumpkin Carving by far, he loves roasting the seeds and making pie with the pumpkin innards – plus he makes the scariest Jack O’ Lanterns!
Year One: Makes the best Candy’s Apples and hard Cider! He learned the recipe when he was young and has been perfecting it ever since.
Masters of Fear: Hosts an Apple Pie Bake off with the rogues. Harley has won for five years in a row and Riddler is quite salty about it.
HHSD: Has a yearly chili cook off, his chili is extra spicy though, so beware! (and it may have a dose of toxin mixed in lmao)
Super Friends: Makes a BOMB Pumpkin Soup, and usually makes enough for a whole hoard of people. He shares his soup with the Legion of Doom.
Yellow Lantern: Uses the power of the yellow lantern ring to create leaf piles all year around and jumps in them. Yes, he loves jumping in leaf piles. He’s a child.
Scarebeast: Literally eats pumpkins whole. That’s it.

Not to be a killjoy (though it is what I do best) but the unsafe and rough handling of a baby Pygmy hippo in a pretty substandard Thai zoo being meme-ed into something funny and cute really shows just how much groupthink plays into public perception of animal welfare.
Moo Deng shows avoidance, threat displays and stress around her keepers that are constantly man-handling her, blasting her with a hose and harassing her. The enclosure is mostly concrete, which is horrible for her soft feet. There looks to be some substrate but there doesn’t seem to be any areas for wallowing or deep water wading.
There’s also very easy access of this hippo to the public with no places to hide. I’d love if someone could shed more light on the enclosures but from what I’ve seen it’s not great.
Also the free contact and forcing into tubs that the keepers do is only going to create an avoidant and potentially aggressive and dangerous Pygmy hippo.
But the public happily overlook that because she’s cute. It’s a similar attitude with seals too.
Stop rewarding bad husbandry with clout. Baby animals deserve agency and respect and to grow up without getting harassed and feeling the need to defend themselves constantly.

I’m just thinking about how many times I’ve heard my dad on a long call with an obvious scammer and I’ll start begging him to get off the phone because I always think he’s a very easy mark and he’ll just keep going and then after a while he’ll say something like “I died 20 years ago” and hang up.

Given what I've obtained through cultural osmosis of both, that tracks
jigsaw couldn’t run total drama for shit but if Chris McLean got a hold of the saw traps I don’t think anyone would be alive in the franchise

Yeah I feel like this is canon
remembering that stex production (vegas iirc?) where cb had a giant “fix me” paper taped to his back and how that was bc they literally had to fix the costume and just left it in for shows. but also him having that in the show is so hilarious and adds to his character, the implication is either that he’s just already fucked up from a previous crash during the show or that someone just slapped that on there to warn people that he’s a freak

You know what, since I'm thinking about it anyways, let's talk formalwear accessories. Most of these are traditionally menswear but a bit of gender fuckery is good for the soul, and frankly most of these are about making your mass-produced clothing fit and lay properly without having to go to the tailor.
Shirt stays: these go around your thighs to hold your shirt down, so that it stays smooth and tucked in. They're usually elastic, with 1-3 clips, and if you wear skirts frequently this is a GREAT way to make sure your top doesn't ride up. The clips will be visible if you're wearing something tight, so loose pants or skirts are where these do best. There's also an insane version that clips to your socks, but that is for lunatics. If you wanted, you could also use one of these clips to hold up thigh-highs.
These do a great job of smoothing and narrowing the waist area by keeping your shirt from bunching there.

Sleeve garters: usually metal, leather, elastic, or silk. These are usually worn with button-down shirts to adjust where your cuff falls on the wrist or hand. They're properly worn on the upper arm, and you pull the fabric of the sleeve above the garter until you cuff is where you want it. Because this creates a puff of sleeve at the bicep, it also broadens the appearance of the shoulders. It's great if you're working with your hands or if your sleeves are often too long for your preference.

Waistband clip or belt adjustment clip/buttons
Three different ways of tightening the waistband of a pair of pants or a skirt. You're not going to get more than an inch or so tighter without weird bunching, and for most of these you'd want them to be hidden under a shirt or jacket, but they do the job if that's something you're having issues with.

Collar pins: There are so many fun ones out there, both with and without chains. They're not terribly practical, though the slight weight may help keep your collar where you want it. Also consider collar tips, which pin (surprise) to the very tips of your collar points.

Sweater clips/guards: meant to hold your sweater or cardigan mostly closed. Great if your cardigan doesn't button, or if you don't like it to be buttoned all the way.

There's tons of other stuff out there like this--etsy is a great place to find this stuff. A lot of these are old solutions to the very modern problem of mass-maufactured clothes not being as one-size-fits-all as advertised, but they're also a fun way to put a bit of personality into businesswear.

Yeah this is my exact issue, it's a similar issue that the 2019 rewrites have (and to some extent the '90's rewrites, making the engines cause their own issues isn't good storytelling imo) It's not a new issue...
StEx confession I'm actually really sick of Hydrogen, you'd think Hydra was the main fucking character the way the production team keep pushing it and Hydra :/
