Sirius licked his lips in disbelief. “So. We’re godfathers now.”

“Right.” Remus nodded. “That’s crazy, innit?”

“Exactly!” Sirius threw his hands up in the air, deflating. “We graduated Hogwarts two years ago, and James and Lily already have a child? We thought she hated him!”

“I guess not,” Remus snorted, flopping down onto his and Sirius’s favorite armchair. “C’mere.”

“I feel so old,” Sirius complained, trudging over to his boyfriend and seating himself on his lap. “We’re gonna be going grey soon, Moony.”

“I’ll be going grey before you will, Padfoot.” Remus tugged at a lock of his hair that was already starting to lose color at the roots. “See?”

“Oh, you don’t count,” Sirius scoffed. “You’d look rugged and handsome no matter what. I bet when you actually go grey people will be all over you.”

Remus chuckled, brushing a thumb over Sirius’s cheek. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you? Staking your claim in front of everyone.”

Sirius grinned. “What can I say, Moonlight? I’m a possessive bitch.”
