Finding the brunette at a club was not uncommon. The loud music, atmosphere and drinks are what kept her sane in this day and age. At least clubs like these were not filled with posh rich men grabbing at young woman, or filled with thousand dollar wines.
Instead, you could get a drink for a decent amount of money. Not that she really ever cares how much her tab is by the end of the night. Money never felt like an object to her. It never felt like it could run out. At least, not when her father still tries to shove it in her face to ā€œkeep her off the streets.ā€
Bringing the last of her beverage to her lips, she feels almost disappointed as the last drop rolls down her tongue. She’d order another one, but she expects the drink to be placed in front of the person sitting next to her, it’s placed in front of her. A drink she wouldn’t normally order, nonetheless.
ā› The hell is this ? āœ Vienna huffs towards the bartender. She doesn’t sound like she won’t drink it, but it certainly reminds her of the countless times someone’s tried to drug her.
ā› Girl over there ordered the wrong thing, said i should give it to the saddest ļæ¼schmuck at the bar. āœ The bartender replies with a gesture, a small smirk on his lips as Vienna rolls her eyes.
ā› Very funny . . . āœ She grumbles before getting up off her chair, grabbing the glass and walking over to the woman he’d gestured to. Woman don’t often buy her drinks, not that she’d ever complain for free anything. But, when someone offers you a drink, you tend to get suspicious as to why. And this ain’t her first rodeo, so to speak. She came here to drink her thoughts away, not hook up. But she’d rather know the real reason why someone ā€œgiftedā€ her a drink out of nowhere, than drinking it without knowing.
ā› Hey cutie, you buy me this drink ? āœ Vienna asks, head tilting towards the drink in her hand as she approaches the woman.

She feels almost stupid for not hearing the foot steps, and instead hearing a man’s voice among the silence. Her form still hunched over the remains of a bloody corpse, breathing heavy through her masks modulator as stared in the direction of the voices location. her left hand still brandishing the knife that had done the man in, a switchblade pierced deep into the corpse’s unfortunate socket.
Had he witnessed her penetrating this man’s eye socket? Was he a witness to her ā€œself-defenseā€ against the armed individual that was ready to shoot? Thank whatever higher power she’d not been shot, she does not need her dna evidence left on the scene. Either way, the mama cross the room —perhaps no more than ten feet away— had seen her gloved hand on her knife in a man’s face. And he was armed to.
ā› Tooth for tooth; why? you want it? āœ She inquired? pulling the eye from the blade and holding it up. She’d have half a mind to pull out a tooth too, but deep down she already knows the time is slim for her to get out without issue. She rolled the eyeball on the floor towards the man, carefully watching his own firearm as she used the deadman’s clothes to wipe his own lukewarm blood off her switch blade.
When her eyes slipped away for just a moment, she noticed the security card that would help move things along much smoother, much faster than a line of code from her phone. She looks back at the man as she slowly grabs it, and finally stands up. She held up both her hands, left with her closed switch blade and right with the key-card, trying to show she has no projectile weapons —unless you count a closed switch blade as a blunt object— and thus not planning on harming him too. Unless, he decided to also get in her way.
ā› Listen, you look like you’re twice my body weight. We got three options. We fight and one of us ends up dead. Or we go separate ways and don’t get in each others way. Or we go the same way and preferably don’t fight. āœ The woman says through a modulator through her own mask, a face covering just over her mouth, but enough to conceal her identity from recognition. She would much prefer not to fight, but she’ll do what needs to be done to get this whole situation resolved, even if that means working along side a stranger. She really doesn’t want to have to grab her concealed firearm and fight this older man almost twice if not three times her body weight.
