Dude it pmo when people don’t understand the nuances of being su1c1d4l.

Not everybody is su1c1d4l because they’ve lived a horrible life.

Not everybody is at a point where feeling guilty for their friends or family is going to save them.

Not everybody has ‘temporary problems’.

Strangers on the internet (/nt) need to sort out their saviour complexes and stop getting frustrated because ‘but it gets better!’ aren’t words that shake everybody to their core.

Some people have chronic su1c1d4l1ty or emptiness.

Some people live a life in long periods of deep disassociation.

Some people don’t want to get better.

And nobody owes recovery, especially if you’re an online stranger.

For me, su1c1d3 feels like something that’s *meant* to happen. It’s some unfortunate mix of intrusive thoughts, bipolar and a religious perspective. It feels right. For my whole life it has felt like what I’m supposed to do and I don’t want to change that. I don’t have a desire to. I don’t want to fix it or get better, I just want to live until I die.

Some people don’t understand that and it can make us both frustrated. I can’t tell you the amount of people who have asked me why I’m suicidal and have kept pushing and digging for answers, when really there’s none. The solution is to understand that it’s not your responsibility to try and help everybody, even if you really want to, and even if you see the flaws in their perspective.
