This year marks the 10th anniversary of Tales of Zestiria, and it is about time to think about #sormikweek2025. As the fandom has long wandered off new horizons, it might also be the last one... So first of all-

this piece also took me forever because of life stuff :D BUT I finally finished after 73743734 years. me struggling WIP photos below;

chomping rocks right now. nina. my child. Sometimes she still sees her - sees Melina. The true Melina had long faded already, but there was one that existed only in Nina’s mind. One far away from the kind woman she had met in Janice. It was the Melina that wanted to control her, to consume her.

Over time, the image she had of Melina became distorted. Like the nightmares of a child where only a faint impression of the monster’s true appearance was seen, so too did Melina warp and shift until she was barely a hint of her true self.

Over time, Nina also changed and shifted as if she were part of a funhouse mirror. She would be whatever people needed her to be. A Chimera. To her parents, a kind and soft daughter - to her friends, a rowdy and comedic side character.

To the professor, it was easiest to reprise the role she once played; that of a mysterious and guarded young girl.

Outside of the act, who even was she?

MAN this drawing took me FOREVERRRRRRRRRR probably the longest i spent on one so far hjdhjfd- i wish csp told you how many brush strokes you did because jfc.

i also never want to render hair like this again, i missed my usual ways of rendering hair. i loathe lining hair in full renders. >:(

I FORGOT TO POST THESE LOL anyways have been playing through tales of the abyss and jade is my fave and woah he has brown hair, red eyes, and glasses. and that reminded me of a little someone named desmond sycamore so naturally i had to give des jade's outfit heh (they are both my faves so an outfit swap was inevitable anyway)
