this behemoth of a comic is finally done - and just in time for zoros birthday huehue. initially i wanted to make a zolu introspective from an outsider POV and was like you know who would have really funny input on this … mihawk. and then it spiraled into seven pages of mishanks sitting and talking. i thought it would be funny if mishanks ended up doing self imposed couples therapy the day mihawk brought luffys bounty bc well. its kind of hilarious to think abt mihawk realizing shanks was onto something all those years ago after he meets zoro and luffy. like sure this new generation is batshit crazy but my god are they cooking. anyways. cheers. get some kids

So today I realized:

Ace: ~6'1" ~180lb ~20 years old

Marco: ~6'8" ~218lb ~43 years old

I knew there was obviously an age gap which I greatly enjoy thinking about and all that but I don't think I fully realized how much bigger Marco is than Ace.

I need more size difference fics. Ace huffing when Marco hauls him up off the ground without any problem after a spar. Or how big his hands are when he gently tugs Ace over to look at something cool or catches him when he falls asleep. No one tells him that sometimes when he falls sleep, Marco just hauls him up bridal style without any effort and takes him to his room.

More experienced Marco and nervous, fumbling Ace fics. Marco smiling as they kiss because he can tell Ace is nervous, small flames licking up his neck and along his jaw next to a pretty blush. The excitement is so cute though.

Marco wrapping Ace up completely in feathered flames and hiding him away. Especially after a close call or long periods of time apart. Grey eyes reflect the burning blue so pretty when he smiles up at Marco.

Marco getting the biggest fucking headache because of course he's interested in a 20 year old. Oh god. He's too old for this.

The crew having the greatest time with it because Ace is pretty, young, and oblivious and Marco is so obviously smitten.

I got a little funky with this design i made for sabo in a previous post

The idea of Koala being like I SWEAR TO YOU WE WILL GET YOU THAT FRUIT and then immediately regretting getting him the fruit because she didnt think about the implication of what that man would be capable of doing now that he got the fukcing fruit.

I love thinking about koala seeing Ace’s ghost that just winked at her and being just horrified. He knew this was gonna happen. He knows the Trials and Tribulations that are in store for her. That smug bastard.

Also i was morally obligated to draw this angular as hell man as soft as i could, hence the last image.
