“Yeah! I’ve already got my suit on and everything.”
“Oh wow you were really committed to that whole jacuzzi idea.” Sacha laughed, wanting to tell her that the swimsuit was unnecessary in a bath tub, but didn’t want to make the blonde uncomfortable. “Alright, well, my dorm’s this way.”

mayaskellington:
Maya had spent much of the day aimlessly wandering on her own, occasionally buddying up with another student for a ride or two before striking off on her own again- not that she minded. This way she could do whatever she wanted to do, no compromising necessary. And right now, she’d decided what she really needed was a sugar fix. She was nearly to the donut stand when she noticed another girl from the school- Maya was certain she’d seen the other girl before, but couldn’t remember her name for the life of her- and smiled, looking into the bag before pulling out a donut. “You read my mind, I was just about to buy some,” Maya said. “Thanks,” she added, before taking a bite.
Sacha covered her mouth, holding half the doughnut up, pinky finger held up like posh people did. “Share mine, please.” She laughed through her teeth. “I’ll eat the whole thing otherwise, and considering all I’ve had the last few days is pure sugar and grease.” She’d been going between eating sweets all day, to not eating all day and then eating a giant plate of chips as compensation. “Can’t help it. It’s too good.”

origami plane to a distant island || open
The giant water splash that came down on everyone in that log ride had absolutely soaked through everything Sacha was wearing. Thankfully she’d passed her bag to an attendant before riding, so when they sopping wet group shuffled their way out she was able to pick it up, nothing damaged. When she was back in the sunlight Sacha pushed her hair out of her face and looked up at the sky. The weather was being wonderful for them, she probably wouldn’t even have to wait long for her clothes to dry. It was a relief to the redhead considering she’d worn a white tshirt and it had gone completely see-through, showing off her very plain mint green bra, which when she noticed had her flushing red. Crossing her arms over her chest in an attempt to cover up, Sacha went over to the doughnut stand, ordering herself a pack of six. She hoped they’d be as delicious as the ones on Brighton Pier. Sacha pulled one out of the paper bag and took a big bite, noticing someone she definitely recognised from school. Mouth full, she simply held the bag out as an offer.

darlinglittlerose:
Sacha was the best person Rose could have possibly bumped into, and couldn’t believe that they were in the same coffee shop in the same city. It felt like fate. She grinned and rounded the table and took a seat, setting her coffee down on the table. “I know, this is so great,” she enthused, happy to have a familiar face in front of her. She knew that her mother had tried to keep her ‘escape’ under wraps, so she didn’t know how much Sacha knew about the whole John situation. “I’ve just got in yesterday, so there’s not much to tell,” she stated, a weak smile making a home on her lips. “I was dreading it, really. I didn’t want to leave Paris,” she commented, thinking that maybe she should get the word out, just to piss off her mother. “How about you? How long have you been here?”
“It is! I’m so glad you’re here actually.” Sacha’s nerves had caused a problem in the whole making friends department, and was only really in touch with her own family. The rest was awkward and unpredictable. “Oh you must be exhausted, the flight out here is just too long.” Sacha sliced her cake with the fork and took another bite while Rose spoke, raising her brows. “Its not that bad, I promise. Although coming from Paris might make it more difficult.” She chuckled, “but I didn’t even know you were in Paris! What were you up to out there?” She assumed school, or a work trip with her mother. “I’ve been here about six months ish I think, roughly, and yeah I’m good! I just got in yesterday actually from Nee York. They’re letting me do some shoots and everything, they said I was trustworthy enough and they make me take an escort, but that’s fine by me. She’s quite nice, actually.”

Since the storm had gone, Sacha had practically been whisked out of town for a shoot that the brand demanded her for, which she was very flattered by considering most would have dropped her in a minute for being so unreachable. She imagined the circumstances had been serious enough to warrant some understanding. Today was her second day back and she was pleased to have some calm back in her life, even if calm wasn’t her normal anymore. She’d found her way to a coffee shop and bought herself a big slice of lemon cake and a chocolate frappe thing topped with cream. After she’d sat down and replied to a text from her agent, the redhead tucked right into the cake, and was interrupted before she could swallow. Her first thought was ‘please don’t take a picture of me’ but when she looked and saw who it was she smiled, had in front of her mouth to cover up her eating. She sipped her frappe through the straw so she could talk, waving her hands in excitement. “Rose! I can’t believe you’re here! I’m great, come sit, sit!” She pushed the chair opposite out with her foot, waving her in. “What a teeny tiny little world, what’s up, tell me everything!”

After making it through her first classes, Rose found that she had the afternoon to herself, and decided to explore the town a bit. She felt exhausted from the flight yesterday, and crying herself to sleep, but she couldn’t stand to go back to her empty dorm and be alone. She passed a few clothes shops, a bookstore, a cutesy ice cream shop, and a couple of important looking law firms. Her eyes settled on a hanging sign with a coffee cup painted on it, and she made a beeline for it. She knew that John wouldn’t be sitting there waiting for her, but she wanted to be in a place that was familiar and smelled like him for a moment. The cafe was nice; mostly wooden interior with exposed brick on one wall that held small, potted succulents. After ordering a black coffee, Rose scanned the room for a place to sit; it was mostly filled with hipsters on laptops, or students working on papers, and a small group of old ladies working on crochet. She sighed inwardly, about to leave, when she spotted a flame of hair in the corner and the familiar face of a girl that she wasn’t sure she’d see again. “Sacha!” Rose grinned as she drew closer, giving a wave. “How are you?”

“Oh,” Sacha blushed, trying not to look at it, she always found it embarrassing when others looked at them “Yeah, that’s me, I took that before the storm.”

“I didn’t get a tub in my room! I got a shower. It’s a nice shower but no way for me to take a bubble bath. Did you get a tub?”
Tumblr media
“Oh, I might’ve had to bug them a little bit for a bath. Paid extra and all of that.”

“Mmm true. And I guess if it’s sort of cold I won’t mind. Although the cold sort of defeats the purpose of a jacuzzi. Anywho, I think i’‘ll head over.”
Tumblr media
“Yeah, that’s a good point, you don’t want to make yourself even colder... If not you could always draw yourself a bath?”`

“Um, I haven’t actually, but I imagine that they are. Assuming the heatings working well enough to thaw it.”
Tumblr media
“I think I need to get out of this building. Have you heard if they’ve reopened the indoor pool and the jacuzzi?”

“I’ll be fine.” Megan assured her, barely finishing the thought before the girl could put on the boots. “Of course they’re real.” She’d said as it were the most obvious thing ever, not realizing how rude that was until a moment after it left her lips. “Sorry-” she faltered for the right words for a moment, “I didn’t mean for- I’m just sorry for how that sounded.” She bit her lip for a moment and looked farther away from her fellow student who now likely thought she was some terrible little spoiled rich girl. It wouldn’t be a completely false label for her, though Megan didn’t think she was terrible. She knew she was privileged, rich and even kind of spoiled, but the fact that she grew up much differently from some of the kids at Elias wasn’t something she considered often.
Sacha’s eyes raised from her feet to the other girl, suddenly feeling stupid for asking the question. She supposed she could have bought real ones back home before the whole modelling thing, but she’d never done it, and lots of girls wore the fake ones at school. It was when the soles moved out and didn’t look right anymore that you could tell. “It’s okay. They’re just expensive though, so you never know.” She shrugged her shoulders. Perhaps lots of people here had the real things, and she had just missed out on it while she tottered about in heels.

Johnny chuckled at her response, and then nodded. “That’s a very good idea! Kind of like little breadcrumbs that won’t be eaten up or blow away in the wind. God, I love technology,” he grinned, starting to walk toward the path that led to the mountain trails.
Sacha skipped along beside him, “Yeah! It’s great isn’t it? Like my family are back in Scotland but I can still talk to them whenever I want. Do you ever think about how amazing copiers are? They take a picture and do an exact copy! So cool.” There were definitely things about technology she didn’t like though, like how if you searched her pseudonym there were a bunch of sites gossiping about her with silly rumours.

“Oh, I’m sure they would, but that is not going to happen, because as I said before, I am not a murderer. And, I happen to be an expert adventurer, so you’re safe with me,” Johnny gave a goofy grin. Her next sentence made his eyes widen with wonder and excitement. “Oh gosh, I hope so!” He bounced on the balls of his feet, as though his energy might expel from his toes and go zinging around the courtyard.
Sacha narrowed her eyes at him, pushing down her smile as she feigned suspicion. “Mmhm, that’s just what a murderer would say.” She teased, a grin splitting her features very quickly after her words to reassure him, if he needed it like she did. She didn’t want to tell him what his safety actually meant to her, so just nodded eagerly. “I hope so too, and I’ve got my phone just in case we need to take a picture of something so we never forget.”

meganfromsanfran:
Megan shrugged slightly then shook her head after a moment of consideration. She definitely hadn’t been hurt, but she wasn’t exactly feeling alright in that moment. Usually Megan would use any reason that crowds of people had gathered to make a new friend or two, but her current state of self pity and guilt didn’t leave room for her usual chipper conversation. with a little bit of a shuffling under her blanket Megan was able to kick off her Uggs and shove them towards the girl. “They might be a bit big, but here.” She muttered, tucking her sock clad feet back into the blanket.
Sacha nodded when the blonde did, mood going somber because the girl didn't look it. Physically maybe, but something definitely seemed wrong. Shoes slid towards her bare feet and she stared at them a moment before looking up at the girl in question. "Are you sure? I don't want your feet to get cold too." She protested, but she already knew she wanted to wear the boots, so it didn't take much longer for her to wipe each foot on the side of her pyjama bottoms and tuck them into the slightly matted down but warm fluff inside the boots. "Are these real Uggs? Wow, I've never worn them before."

meganfromsanfran:
When they spoke Megan realized she definitely didn’t know the barefoot girl who walked up to her and in the time it took Megan to feel bad about the girl not having shoes and decide how to answer the first question she’d been asked another. She could have easily lied, but lying really wasn’t her style and the girl would probably find out what she did eventually. “You really don’t know that this was my fault?” Megan whispered as she tried to motion tot the people standing around them without removing her arm from the warm haven of her blanket, making the blanket bulge slightly in a lazy and almost pathetic gesture. Without even the briefest glance upwards, Megan shrugged. “You can stand here if you want.” That was the least she could do after forcing the other out of her before she could get fully dressed.
Sacha looked surprised and shook her head slightly, “No, no I didn’t know. Are you alright? You didn’t get hurt did you?” She asked, looking her over to make sure there were no burn marks. It was a fire alarm, she was expecting a fire and if this girl caused it she could’ve been too close. When things looked normal enough, and she wasn’t too worried anymore, she laughed to seem casual. “Thanks, it’s just a bit too busy over there.” She continued, tucking her hands into her pockets, stepping from one foot to the other to keep them off the cold ground.
