Transformation of Sports in India by Fitso

Fitso came together from a seed (Jogo Technologies) that was planted by 3 alumni from IIT-Delhi in 2015; Saurabh Aggarwal, Naman Sharma & Rahool Sureka. 

Fitso has been delivering World Class experience to Indians of all ages. From the early days of Running+Cycling, to complete fitness solutions, from making people of Delhi-NCR swim to foraying into various sports like Badminton, Table Tennis, and Badminton to name a few, the exploration of various opportunities has always been for the ultimate end goal - “to make people FIT”. Team Fitso is committed to driving a change that very soon will entail myriad sporting experiences across the country under its community umbrella.

A Fitso experience is a deliberate amalgamation of High-performance Infrastructure & Comprehensive guided learning program to experience any particular sport in its best suit. 

Fitso is already a known name in the sport of Swimming where it has touched more than a million lives. We are now foraying to both new geographies & varied sporting categories with newer & innovative formats. 

Fitso SEALs - The Swimming Arm

Considering the current market and the overall swimming community, here in Delhi NCR, we saw that the swimming literacy in Delhi/NCR’s youth is only about 20% as opposed to more than 80% in the European nations which are much colder. Plus, the climate only allows swimming April through September, restricting athletes to practice in the winter. No wonder Delhi-NCR is unable to produce podium winning athletes compared to other regions.

There was clearly a gap to be filled.

Fitso brought competent people on-board and revolutionized the swimming community all across Delhi-NCR. We give the most holistic exposure for training to all the swimmers from beginner to advanced level, thus prompting the young untapped talent who are in most need of it.

OUR PREMIUM FEATURES

Five Star Facility - Fitso provides the Best and the most Luxurious Swimming Facility spread across Delhi-NCR with an Excellent Infrastructure and Certified Trainers.

Extremely Clean & Hygienic - We regularly maintain the pH, chlorine level and other parameters to keep the water clean & transparent and maintain the overall Hygiene of our pools.

Safe and Secure - All our Pools have Experienced and Qualified Lifeguards, Lifesavers, First Aiders and CCTV cameras installed to ensure the overall safety of our learners.

Women and Kids Friendly - More than 40% of our total users are women including of age above 60 years. We provide coaching to children of all levels(Beginners to Advanced levels). Children above the age of 4 years can enroll for regular group coaching. We provide both Group and Individual (1 to 1) for Babies and Pre-School Children below 4 years.

Training Equipment - All equipment required to learn and the training will be provided by us at the pool.

WHAT SETS US APART FROM OTHERS

Fitso SEALs App - Our App allows a non-member to explore our facilities and book their preferred plan. It also enables our members to track their assessment and progress.

Indoor Temperature Controlled Pool - Our Indoor Pools are Temperature Controlled at around 25-28 Degrees Celsius which is the Perfect Temperature Range to Swim in Winters and are operational all year round.

Our Coaches - Our Coaches are STA-UK and NIS, AustSwim, YMCA and ASCTA Certified that are considered to be one of the Highest Certifications in the Swimming Industry. We maintain a maximum ratio of Coaches: Students at 1: 8. This way, everyone gets the required attention.

No Cost EMI - Our No-Cost EMI option enables our potential customers to easily purchase their preferred swimming plans irrespective of the price, without paying any additional costs.

Milestones

Fitso has grown from a team of 10 in 2016 to a team of 250+ in 2019 and now has its splashing control all over Delhi-NCR - Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida with 22 pools and currently entering the City of Nizams - Hyderabad, launching 3 pools in the month of July.

In 2018, we had 7 pools which were open all year round and we trained over 20,000 people. Currently, in 2019, we are providing our services in 22 swimming pools and the count of people that we have trained since the last year has exponentially risen by 60% i.e. 50000 people. Our mission is to have over 200 pools and we’ll be catering over 6 Lac users by the year 2021.

Presently, we have an average transaction per month of 5000 people with an estimated average of Rs 7500. Also, we have over 150 certified coaches who work day in and out to provide the best services to our users.

We trained Praveen Chaudry who won 2 Gold medals at Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi earlier this year in freestyle events and trained under our Fitso SEALs coach, Kamiya Bharti at one of our Gurgaon Pools. Also, Artham Sharma, 9-year-old kid, who trains at one of our centers in Ghaziabad, finished 10 KM open water swim in Ganga River, Varanasi and became the youngest person to finish out of 50+ participants.

We have a vision. And that vision extends to making sport and general leisurely exercise (movement) accessible and fun! Through Fitso, we want to become pioneers, frontrunners, leaders and we’ve hit a bang with swimming. Fitso is re-defining the landscape of recreational sports and we can look forward to a much fitter and sports crazy nation that plays more than cricket.
