Happy one year anniversary to Apology Tour btw!

The episode that emotionally destroyed us following the full moon episode is now officially one year old and let me tell you, it really doesn't feel like it's been that long tbh, time really flies or something like that.

6 Month Hiatus

(wait I did make that gif...why can't I find it among my files to add to this post?)

Yep, it's now been officially 6 months, HALF A FREAKIN' YEAR since the last episode of Helluva Boss.

We're also now in officially the third longest hiatus period (how do I know? because I obsessively track it.) But probably only at least halfway through what will be likely the longest..

We're also looking at a new short in the next nine days, AND likely the summer merchandise drop in the next 30 days. (I track that too. Oh, what else am I gonna do?) So, that's a plus. Plus some Hazbin news in another month at the SDCC. So, that's another thing to look forward to. (am I missing anything? please let me know)

I'm okay in the sense that it's now officially summer time and I'm trying to find other stuff to do.

But I miss working on/obsessing over my (main) fandom stuff. Not unlike last year, waiting between Apology Tour and Ghostf*ckers.

How's everyone else doing/coping?

How Helluva Boss is going to be released on Amazon~

As well all know Helluva Boss is going to be releasing on Amazon before being put on Youtube, and I heard from a mootie of mine who's subscribed to Viv's Patreon, that the plan for Helluva Boss going forward is this:

This news came right from Viv's May Patreon Q&A: Viv's current plan is for the first half of Season 3 to be released weekly on Amazon.

Essentially...

One episode will be released each week on Amazon, and the series will go on another hiatus once the first half of Season 3 is finished airing.

Meaning, Season 3 will most likely be a split cour with a mid-season finale, similar to Season 2.

This makes sense- being that Viv confirmed in an interview last year that the first half of Season 3 of Helluva Boss was already fully written and recorded.

Stolas & Loona + Blitzø & Octavia

Something interesting I’ve noticed.

[That inevitably led to me overthinking everything again and resulting in another prediction/hope for future seasons]

Stolas himself admits here that he expresses himself best through song. And thinking about it, he’s right! Throughout Helluva Boss we’ve seen instances where Stolas has tried to express his feelings/thoughts to others, but will ultimately trip over his words or backtrack. Particularly if he’s nervous or desperately trying not to upset the other person. Some examples? Those texts to Blitzø and that meeting with Asmodeus for the Asmodean Crystal.

Stolas sends Blitzø wall after wall of text going over everything that he wants/needs to say, only to backtrack immediately after Blitzø responds with a quick apology and an insistence to “nevermind”. With Asmodeus it’s a little more subtle. Throughout that meeting Stolas seems to stumble over what he wants to say quite a bit, actually hesitating and stopping frequently to collect his thoughts before speaking again.

Stolas himself readily admits that he “loves words”, but he only seems to be the most comfortable with those words if he’s reading or singing them, or in complete control of the situation.

Which brings me to my next observation. Blitzø actually seems to understand Stolas’ feelings better listening to him sing.

In fact, the two times Blitzø has been present to hear Stolas express his feelings through song, Blitzø almost immediately sought him out afterwards to talk.

Granted, both instances Stolas wasn’t really aware that Blitzø was trying to open up (either being drunk or outright passed out), but it’s interesting that both times Blitzø hears Stolas sing he immediately tries to have a heart to heart conversation afterwards. Something that’s near impossible to get someone as guarded/emotionally constipated as Blitzø is to do.

Granted, maybe I’m reading too much into this, but this definitely seems like a pattern to me. The only times Blitzø (willingly) tries to open up are after he hears Stolas sing, and the only times we see Blitzø actually sing himself is when Stolas is involved in some way. And in a show that’s basically a musical where Blitzø himself as the main character hates on musicals…I can’t help but think Vivzie is hinting at something.

Specifically, that Blitzø isn’t going to be the one to say “I love you”, he’s going to sing it! Blitzø is gonna get a song, I’m convinced of it!

Suddenly Last Summer

Just was pondering today how, last year at this time, I was still a show newbie with only one new episode under my belt, greatly anticipating Apology Tour as it could make or break my summer.

Well, my ship's in a better place currently, but I'm deep in Hiatus Hell, with only one short upcoming (that we have a month release date for). So, I sorta miss last year's anticipation/fear. Whowouldhavethought?

Didn't have a Helluva/Stolitz pin yet, so thank god I managed to order this yesterday (hopefully they'll restock them like the hoodies)

Initially I was like "why didn't this drop when I ordered my Alastor backpack purse a few days back?" but then, I had to select 'Store Pickup' on that as well (you need to spend like $70 to avoid the $8+ shipping costs)

And I also have super-sweet clerks at my store who always give me the latest coupons, so that could have been much worse.

I'm also curious, as my pirating abilities are kinda stuck back in the 2000s with Napster and Limewire, I've never really advanced to video recordings beyond stuff on Youtube.

I've had..some success with using a trial of StreamFab on my PC with other streaming services. (I've previously used their DVDFab for dvd copying, and although they're not free programs, I've usually found the company reliable)

Soooo since helluva is going to be premiering episodes on Prime, anyone have any suggestions for screen recording on a Mac or iPhone considering the streaming services prevent you from doing so?

Time for New Merch,

Yep, after 5 months and spending the holiday weekend bouncing back and forth between states, the Sinsmas purchase finally arrived!

Including this 'Last Chance' item:

Stolas, I hope I don't get food stains on you like I did to my Stolitz playmat, but at least cheap dishsoap does a good job of cleaning you if I do.

At this point, my computer desk is starting to have a lil Stolas shrine:

With a minor Stolitz one starting, sharing the shelf with a bunch of Elsas:

which the Stolitz playmat got moved to. Partly hidden, but at least my stuff won't fall through the bars anymore, handy for the keychains.

I got the Sinsmas shirt too, but I'm honestly at the point where I'm losing track of all the Helluverse shirts I own, which makes me think maybe I shouldn't buy every single Stolitz one released in the near future..Time will tell.

Also, unless I expand or rearrange this area, I'm not sure if I'll have space for much more, including the Blitz and Stolas Youtooz I already have. At this point, I may just try to collect some small pins (which I haven't bough yet) or more keychains. And maybe a nice Standee of them both.
