          just the memory has her expression darkening just the slightest.           t'was the darkness that did it. t'was stannis who was the darkness           itself, come to slip into renly’s tent at the crueler end of the day         && take them all unawares. even if she had managed to draw her           sword in time, mayhaps she may not have been able to harm him:           but by all the gods, perhaps she may have given her life for him.           perhaps the shadow could have been tricked. but she had not           moved fast enough, && renly had seen the last of the world too           soon. much too soon.

          her countenance is quick to recover ‘gainst the darker recesses           of her mind. her light pushes them all away, waving the torch of           passion fire high. the woman looks back up towards the dragon.           the memories have made her a bit bolder, somehow, as though           knowing that another shares them with her is comforting. &&         so she takes a few steps more, until she could reach out &&           touch the sapphire scales if she so desired.

          brightscales: a beautiful name, for a beautiful dragon. the color           of her scales reminds her of tarth, && grants a small smile 'pon           her face.

          there was no lie in the words the woman before her spoke. chest vibrated           when she grew ever drew near. it was not a sound of agitation, but one of           relaxation. if the other were to touch her she would lean into the touch           rather than withdraw. it would remind her of the touch her rider would give           so many centuries ago. it would be a touch she’d long for.

        she had been alone once. loneliness had been a l l she had known for so long; it had become an ( unwelcomed ) companion, but with saphira here she was no longer alone. it was a BLESSING to have a friend as true as the dragon ( how unexpected that her most trustworthy friend would not be human at all ), and sansa was grateful that she had thought to return. not many would. especially since she bore a stained name and the IRE of the royal family.    

          smile only grew when the dragon nuzzled her cheek. a hand raised to stroke saphira’s head. she did WORRY about her, even though she knew that saphira could fend for herself if trouble arose. still, there was ( d a n g e r ) if they were discovered. dragons were not supposed to still breathe life in westeros, and yet ONE still did.
