Okay lets put our realism glasses on.
A one month boycott is absolutely unrealistic, especially on such short notice. Especially, especially if called upon by a random tumblr post and especially, especially, especially aimed at a thing so ingrained world wide as YouTube.
I know you guys mean well but suggestions like these are idealistic at best and will amount to not much more than short online outrage.
It disregards the fact that many people online require YouTube as a form of income and again you reach is not big enough for this to have any impact. You will just tire yourself and like at the absolute best maybe 50 other people out by calling for an unsustainable and aimless boycott.
It also runs the risk of derailment and online harassment. Which in turn will hurt the overall cause.
As annoying as it is, boycotts towards something like YouTube in that manner is a silly notion and just not feasible at any scale be it one day or one month. You will always be throwing toothpicks at a giant.
Boycotts are best served at services and products where you have direct buying power. If you really want to do a YouTube boycott target their subscription models such as YouTube premium. And if you want to do that you need to spread the word properly, not via a tumblr post. This needs to be a several weeks long movement spread across several social medias asking people to quit their YouTube premium subscriptions and watch YouTube with add block instead.
If you want a proper boycott you can't just yell "hey lets boycott in a manner that will require you to go out of your way and not use an entertainment and education avenue you have available for free for like a month" into the void and expect it to reach anybody willing to participate. You need to be strategic, you need to aim for realistic targets and you need to run this like a marketing campaign to reach as many people as possible. It will be annoying and tedious to keep up especially if you want to properly apply pressure towards YouTube.
Anyways
Here is what you really can do to get realistic results at the moment:
Go to social media platforms and start bothering them there. YouTube historically has only reacted to people's complaints if they are made publicly on channels that people pay attention to. Start a movement there and tag big content creators to hopefully get them to speak out about it.
If you receive income from YouTube they most likely already have your personal data, so those channels are probably fine either way. I'm not 100% sure what the verification process is for YouTube partners but from my understanding you need to give them your legal name and address.
For everyone else:
do not send them your ID.
If your account is hit by the AI thing and you are an everyday user, treat it as a ban and evade it by making a new account each time it happens. Also make sure to write in your support ticket that you do NOT consent to YouTube having your personal date.
If you do have sent them your ID due to whatever reason follow these steps to delete that data:
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/12270735?hl=en
Some good news:
Youtube is only using this in the US as a trail run because your data protection laws are extremely lax.
They are using you as a guinea pig to see how good the AI actually is and then will try to push it onto other countries they can get away with.
That means countries like Germany with very strict data protection laws will probably be fine for now and if they do try to push it here we might be able to get some of our politicians to take note and act against it. We have a history of squashing attacks on our cyber security in the past here so we might be able to apply enough pressure for Youtube to back off at least a little.
Last:
Protests.
Youtubes HQ
901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, California, USA.
If you are in San Bruno try and organize a protest. Until now most of Youtube's shenanigans have not been worth going that far. This is.
Again this is not something you can do from now to tomorrow. Use YouTube as a way to spread the message. YouTube shorts is an extremely good way to gain traction if you know what you are doing. Get a hashtag rolling on twitter. Tag content creators. Tell your friends in the area. Set a date and keep the pressure up for as long as you can.
I would try and get the ball rolling on this myself but I'm not located in the US.
Other noteable location:
Los Angeles, California 12422 W Bluff Creek Drive
This is their LA location. It's mostly where they do creator stuff.
Also inform yourself about events YouTube will be present at in an official capacity and organize protests at those too.
If you really want them to know this is unacceptable this is where to make your point clear. Make it an actual inconvenience for them. Make keeping this Ai up genuinely uncomfortable for them.
Okay so bad news for everyone on YouTube right now

Starting the 13th, we will have an AI determine if we are children or not and if you are a child, than you are forced to send your ID, send a selfie or a credit card

This has the obvious cons of having your privacy being revoked from you and and in case there is a security breach, major identity thefts.
So what do we do in this scenario?
Well right now I have real idea as this is relativity new to me, but I do have two plans
Plan 1. Bug the shit out of them, send letters and send emails about how much of bad idea this is.
Include why the AI will mess up and target adults who watch cartoons, include privacy issues, censorship issues, anything you can think of that relates to this. I want you guys to bug the hell out of YouTube until they reverse this idea
Plan 2. Blackout.
Since the thing is coming out on the 13th.
The plan will be to completely avoid YouTube at all cost for that day, no watching, no sharing, no uploading, no nothing.
Download videos before things go down, watch Netflix. Whatever you do, don’t touch YouTube.
That’s all I can say right now, I also want you guys to let YouTubers know of this situation cause if it’s important for everyone on the website to talk about this immediately
Spread this stuff around, let people know of YouTube’s upcoming policy and how it’ll hurt everyone

Praying they don't kill him for your sake then

Beatbreak looks really cool. Seems like they are going even darker with the tone. Also interesting this is the oldest main cast we had so far.

Also considering the ages and groupings of these characters we might have our first female deuteragonist since Ruki, that is if they don't introduce another character later.
My guess is Tomoro's mentioned older brother might be the twist villain or tied to his motivation for joining the golden dawn.
Also his secondary hobby is drumming so that might be a clue to what theme Geckomon's evolution line will have.
It's also interesting that they act as their partners power sources, that's probably the most involved partner/digimon dynamic we had in a while. Seems like they are actually in danger.
Also interesting that we got an adult main cast member.
Overall seems like they are aiming for a older audience this time but with a way more sincere attempt than they did with something like Data squad.
