Din’s new Nevarro neighbors realizing pretty quickly that the new guy will help you with anything if you ask him nicely. Got a leaky roof? He’ll climb up there and patch it and clean out the gutters while he’s at it. Old and need someone to run into town and pick up some groceries for you? How many potatoes do you need, ma’am? Some creep keeps harassing you? Don’t worry about it, it’s taken care of.
Din has all the thank-you pies, cakes, and pastries he and Grogu can eat.

Ok never mind. I’m very happy now 😊
I’m so scared right now. Am I not the only one fucking SCARED?!? How is everyone staying so calm!!
My body literally cannot handle the stress
I can’t risk starting my year long depression right before having to go to work, and I most definitely won’t be able to wait a whole day to know.
Somebody just tell me when if it’s safe to watch. You can find me crying in the corner

In one of the traditional Hero’s Journeys, the hero returns to their home after trials and tribulations to go back to how things were before they had to embark on their adventures. It’s then that the hero realizes they can’t go back to what used to be and that they’ve changed too much to live the life they used to have. That realization is what catapults them forward to another call of action or duty.
This is where Din Djarin is at right now. After everything he’s been through, he’s finally able to return to the place he calls home with his covert. But he’s being forced to discover that he can’t live with them the way he used to. He has a Force-wielding foundling to train, allies of his from all over the galaxy are calling upon him for help, and he can’t resist being the one who urges his people to live in the light again for the first time since the Purge.
Din has come a long way from being the man who kept his head down and drew no eyes in the tunnels of Nevarro. That’s what these past few episodes have been trying to show us.

Paz, to Bo-Katan: “As leader of the war party, you get to stay by the fire in a place of honor as you eat.”
Paz, to Din: “As Mand’alor of our people, go eat somewhere else and I hope you fucking trip in the dark.”

day in the life of a mandalorian:
-wake up
-emerge from cave
-scatter and walk up to two miles to eat breakfast so no one sees your face
-practice fighting next to a lake with giant monsters living in it
-shoot flamethrowers at each other
-man eating monster takes a child and kills three mandalorians
-attempt to save child and fail
-say “this is the way” at least 20 times
-go back to practice fighting next to lake with monsters
-eat dinner in separate corners of the desert
-go to bed (helmet on)

i haven’t seen anyone else talk about when the imperial troopers are retreating. the other mando’s are taking covering firing at them and steadily advancing while din is just running in the line of fire gunning down troopers left and right like it’s nothing?? he’s consistently the most badass mandalorian & i’m waiting for the memes/gifs/edits of those scenes. he gives 0 fucks.
YEAH HE IS! Always throwing himself into the line of fire for his fellow Mandalorians!

Maybe people who experienced deep childhood trauma shouldn't be near the Armorer when she's forging something

I feel like this episode almost foreshadowed that Din will end up with the dark saber and ride the mythosaur… I might be way off but it felt like they were emphasizing Din’s honor and humility and capability to rule over Bo’s. For example, after the ugnaught scene, instead of being grateful for Din’s help, she says “what was that?” And seems frustrated simply because she needed his help. And at the end, none of the Mandalorians would have sided with Bo unless Din decided to make the move that he did—a move I couldn’t see Bo Katan making. Axe Wolves’ comment at the end also felt like a foreshadow to me—“he doesn’t even have a drop of mandalorian blood in his veins”—why would they say this line if it’s just gonna go the expected way with Bo, a mandalorian by blood, ruling mandalore? I feel like this line is setting up Din as the unlikely ruler, as the dark horse candidate. Sure he’s been on the sidelines this season but literally NONE of this would have happened without him. Without him there was no mission to retake mandalore. I can’t help but feel like in these last two episodes he may finally start to get his recognition. Don’t ask me how he could end up with the dark saber though cause I have no idea lmao, maybe if he were to ride the mythosaur that would be enough? Sorry that was so long ahah
This analysis is genius. I’m not sure about any animosity from Bo’s side, but the whole “dark horse” thing??? Your MIND!

I cannot stress how obsessed I am with this episode and Din Djarin being an incredible diplomatic and strong leader while simultaneously being a menace to society

Din and Grogu found those Mandos he’s supposedly no longer allowed to associate with so quickly that the only option for how is a constant stream of postcards he gets from the Armorer saying ‘you’re absolutely not allowed to stop by THIS PLANET in THIS SYSTEM and the caves by THIS LAKE (the one shaped like a tree, if you see one with the little hook thing you’ve gone too far) so STAY AWAY (graduation party at 4, potluck at 5 but remember you’re NOT INVITED)’

Favreau, I would have respected the ballsiness of making the baby’s first word be “Pelli”, that would have been hilarious, but if you really want to not be a coward, you should make his first words be “WHAT THE SHIT WAS THAT” the next time Din gets his ass handed to him and the baby has to fight his way out of a gauntlet of radioactive lizard birds that are Jump Scare Smacking themselves right up against his canopy window. I would never make fun of you for your timeline again if you give us this one thing. We can say “shit” in Star Wars now, come on, don’t be a coward, Favreau.

These first few seasons have gotta just be an origin story, right? Sure Din is “The” Mandalorian right now, sure he’s currently the rightful ruler of mandalore right now, sure he’s who we would assume to be the main character right now… But now Grogu? This kids been carrying this show (and Din) since the beginning. He is the fulfillment of prophecy, and he’s gonna live through it all. His father will rebuild Mandalore, but Grogu will rule it all.
This bitch walked
So this little fucker could run!
