OKAY TIME FOR A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

I call it:

"What The Fuck Is A Twilly?"

Let's fuckin GO:

This is a twilly. Also known as a "Mitzah Scarf" (DIOR), or a "Skinny Scarf" (Blech!). It's a thin, almost ribbon-like scarf/tie that anyone can use. These little works of art pack a punch - adding a sprinkle of unique personality to an otherwise bland 'fit. A lot of folks don't know how to wear grandma's big silk scarves, or they live somewhere balls hot (like me!) where this shit is unheard of. Made of pure high quality silk, a twilly from one of the high fashion houses, such as Hermés or DIOR, will set you back $200 USD - or as much as $600 USD!

"But Lenneth!" You say. "Who can afford that for just a scarf? Aren't they just an outdated girly thing anyways!?"

As you can see, you've likely seen them everywhere and had no idea! I see them as the ultimate gender-neutral accessory: completely versatile no matter who you are or what you identify as.

So yeah, that's why this project has been so important to me. It's not just about finding a non-nerdy niche that I can be proud of. It's that people, no matter their gender, can use these to express themselves, and not only do I want to make that more affordable - I want that to be normalized. I want more and more fashions that are gender neutral and cover a whole myriad of styles and tastes. So many options that it's not even blinked twice at! I make $943.81 a month right now. After I pay: Bankruptcy payment $521.00 Insurance $90.00 Wells Fargo $130.00 Merrick Bank $106 Capital One $122.00 My balance is negative by $26.00 before I can buy a single shipping label. Sigh.

Happy new year! I know this is late bate it’s actually not too late cuz Lunar new year is a few weeks away so this is actually an early celebration for me 😂 I made this piece to mark my change in art style since the first time I started taking drawing more seriously as I took part in Good Omen fandom. I cannot tell how grateful I am for being part of this wonderful community as it allowed me to grow as an artist and opened a door for me to live freely as myself. So here’s to all of us and hope for a great year ahead ❤️

on another note, watched The Mummy (1999) the other day and I couldn’t help  feel like the O’Connells and the Addams (Addams Family Values (1993) would get on really well ya know? The O’Connells are basically the pastel adventure version of the Addams, surely they would just be vibin’ over tea and crumpets in an extremely haunted mansion having a ball of a time
