I made this in 1996.  To make it back then was a million times harder than it would have been today:  screen capped each frame in the loop by hooking up my VCR to my TV capture card (it was this external monstrosity with a separate power cord XD).  The screen caps had bad color, were blurry, and full of static so I redrew each frame pixel by pixel with a mouse (wasn’t so good at image editing programs back then). XD;;

Of course, it got lost over time because I made that thing like 203498203489 computers ago, so I’m glad people jacked it from my site back in the day. XD

There's a (probably) abandoned fic on Ao3 that I read before covid and left a comment on about how I was excited for whenever the update came in.

Someone replied to my comment and mocked me a little like 'oh are you still fine with waiting it's probably dead' and I said yes.

For the record, the fanfic never did update again. But you know what has updated? This random fellow reader who has taken it upon themselves to reply to my comment the same day every year to ask if I'm still waiting.

Well yeah, I'm not saying they should die for it. But also it's a really dangerous 'prank' because I don't expect someone woken up at 3 am to their door being smashed in to react well. They're gonna assume they're in danger and go into fight or flight.

Im not sure of this specific case, but hasn't the tiktok prank ACTUALLY been donkey kicking the front door as hard as possible to the point of breaking it? I've seen it called ding-dong-ditching but every example of the trend hasn't been ringing a door bell. It's been physically breaking someone's door in and only running away after the homeowner shows up.

Like, ideally the kids still shouldn't die over it. But it's still something that would get police called out because hearing the glass on your front door shatter isn't a minor annoyance like a doorbell. That's someone attempting a break in at 3 AM.

I have had a lucid dream exactly one (1) time and I think I fucked it up.

I dreamed I was driving past my old college and I went “Wait this is a dream! I can do whatever I want!” and I immediately swerved into oncoming traffic and right before I hit a truck I thought “Boy I hope this is a dream or this is going to really hurt”

And then I woke up.

I have not had a lucid dream since.
