It fits with the theme that Jack is "clean" while Joseph is supposedly not. It also fits with the idea of Jack trying to appear like the ideal best friend/love interest for MC, while also having a dark side to him.

I like the touch that all Jack needs is skin contact to feed himself. It can allow for him to sneakily get some nourishment when he needs it while still being MC's perfectly innocent and angelic best friend. A high-five can be a quick snack, and an offered massage to help relax them after a long day can be more like a meal.

Do you know if Snaccpop is actually going to implement that mechanic into the game so that players can ask Jack to not degrade them and call them a slut? I like Jack but having to hear him call me that and similar things in game is really just going to ruin it for me 😕

I'm afraid I don't know, sorry. While I would love to officially join the SnaccPop team and write for the game, I'm just an enthusiastic fan, and as such I couldn't tell you if that's a plan to be implemented or not. The best I can do is discuss it and offer suggestions.

Personally, I would love it if they made that language optional. I'm very vanilla and soft with my tastes, but I don't think that it's bad that others enjoy the degrader kink. I think that there is a simple compromise that can make everyone happy without making anyone feel ashamed about their comfort and tastes. Hopefully the team will take the feedback on the audio drama into account and consider adding that option into the final game.

Derek’s DLC is launching on September 29th, 2022 🥳️. We’ve fixed up the beta bug reports, added final touches, and are finally ready to share Derek’s story with everybody.
