some things about republic ! boba and his clone siblings  - he’s learned to cope with his feelings of insecurity and dissociation.  as a child, he used to read about evidence suggesting some behavioral traits are genetic… and thus, he would look at, examine all the small gestures and subtleties he saw in other clones that thought made him special or different, fearing that his personality was the same as theirs as well.  but in finally accepting the clones as his legitimate siblings, boba sees these similarities and thinks ‘well of course they do that, we’re related.’, which has helped immensely in his re-construction of self-worth and autonomy. -  he doesn’t have the same missions as a typical soldier, he’s something more like a special agent.  he’s tasked with more complex, more individualized missions as the war drags on; and he’s left with a lot of time between missions on coruscant.  because he lives so close to the jedi temple, he doesn’t shy away from visiting, and most enjoys getting to see the younglings or younger padawans, whereas he views their masters and the knights with a kind of neutral apathy.  in these visits, he’d also meet some of the clone guards, but also kay   ( yay… plugging my clone oc here. you can find him over on infcntry ) who is kind of a full time patient with the jedi healers after an accident, and after being recommended to come to coruscant rather than be stuck on kamino with meds that didn’t help him very much.  and while staying on coruscant with the healers, boba has the chance to meet him, and immediately decides to make the conscious effort to check in on him whenever he can. because that’s his brother and while he… neutrally trusts the jedi, he can’t let anything bad happen to his little brother.  ( like actually little, he’s a little older than a ‘child’ clone cadet, he’s like five yrs old and looks maybe fourteen or fifteen )   and he 100% reads things to him after his nightly healing sessions until he falls asleep, and stays a little while after just to make sure he’s ok.   -  special shoutout to heidi / @saidalpha because he also cares a lot about vin and goes out of his way to check up on his little sister,  he wants her to feel just as unique and special as any individual should, he wants to treat her like a human and a sister when no one else will, when most natural-borns don’t bother to consider her a person, let alone a citizen. he wants to protect her, and support her, and definitely comms her all the time to make sure he knows her schedule and just in case she goes anywhere,, or goes missing in action, or anything. he worries about her more than he’ll let on and he loves her like a sister. and always will.
