i would also like to point out that automatically equating any representation of sex, sensuality and sexuality to something that only appeals or caters to men is extremely misogynist and conservative

it perpetuates the idea that women are — or should be — sexless beings without desires, fantasies, imagination or agency, that sexual activity and sexual autonomy are things reserved exclusively for men, and that women who express themselves through their sexuality are simply performing (= pretending) to please men, to get approval from men, or financial compensation from men

which is, as you surely know, incorrect, bigoted, antiquated, embarrassing and misogynistic to believe and to claim

MOONIES, has anyone compiled a best of original watch list if the Sailor Moon Anime (the original)?

I love when therapists engage someone's drama by "permission" therapy, kind of a reverse psychology. "Im afraid I left my stove on it makes me too anxious to work but it feels too crazy to go back home" then take a video before you leave. "My chest hurts every time I visit my parents on Christmas" then don't go. "I feel like wearing a pink buzz cut to work but I can't" yeah you can, book a hair appointment right now. "I think i hate being a man I wish I was a woman to make my life better" ok here's your prescription your surgery is booked next month. "I want to move to Canada until there's a new administration" go get a green card then. which province do you want to move to?

It either catches them off guard so they realize what they actually want is to whine about feelings and they just want to talk on and on without executing any actions. OR they realize they were just being a big child and needed someone else to "allow" them to do something they wanted (or in the worst case this is a baby person who wants to place all the responsibility and blame on another person i.e. "why did YOU make me miss Christmas with my controlling parents" "the corrupt medical system took advantage and tricked me into thinking I'm trans!" "my bad therapist forced me to break up with my ex :("

some people just don't believe they have complete, total autonomy and choose to do everything in their lives. they need the therapist to be the autonomy for them
