while i don't have too much against rcb, you have to admit a team who's slogan is "ee sala cup namde" losing in the finals again is funny asf and we can't lose that

I don’t particularly like this mentality from the drivers, especially in a race where Hadjar crashed on a formation lap, and Sainz crashed under a safety car.
A car could get unsettled on a kerb or experience a mechanical failure and with how greasy and damp the track was even the best driver could lose control of the car even for a second.
Personally I think those comparing things to Bianchi are taking things a tad too far, as Bianchi’s accident happened when he was speeding under yellows (over 200kph) and there was no safety car around, but I also think that drivers should be advocating for safety in these situations and not normalising machinery on tracks and we don’t want to be in a position where that could happen again.

carlos sainz for team principle in 2040 guys im calling it
Australian GP | 2025
AA: But to be honest with you, you need help. You don't know what the weather's doing and the communication is some area that we've always been working on, trying to improve, especially in these kind of interchangeable conditions, just the relevant information for me... They knew exactly when the rain was gonna hit and how hard it was gonna hit. I honestly - if you remember on the radio - I was against it! I thought what are we doing, it's bone-dry... coming out of the pitlane, I was like okay we've definitely lost out here. But it was alright, I actually need to go see Charles [Florentin, the Head of Race Strategy at Williams] and give him a kiss.
JV: I'll give you a little nugget. I don't know if you saw in the race but Carlos was up on the pitwall right beside me and his insight was fantastic. He looked at the radar and went when that hits, they won't say on track, simple as that. And you could see the big key decision today is do you stop or not, and you saw the field was split. Carlos' information was key towards this so it is a group effort, really, in that regard and it was fantastic to see.
You gotta lock him down for a 15-year contract so he can stay there as a strategist after.
JV: He said he was more nervous than he was in the car, being up there. It's interesting.

“the best way for charles to grow was to have a new teammate."
let’s dissect. putting aside the fact that fred himself has said in the past that charles’ improvement in his race craft can be credited to carlos. why does a racer in f1, arguably one of the most competitive fields in motorsport, need a teammate to help him “grow” ?
mind you, he’s been in this sport for more than half a decade, has been heavily supported and favoured by a team like ferrari, been in a midfield car during his worst stints, has been touted to be the next world champion even, but somehow still needs a teammate to help him grow. you’d think he’d now be the experienced teammate that is ready to be a mentor to a rookie, but nope apparently he still needs to be mentored by a teammate to help him grow. embarrassing if you ask me.
swear this is the last I’ll be talking about this, it’s just that every time fred opens his mouth he pisses me off more.
#the greatest thing that has ever happened to ferrari yet he needs a mentor?🤨🤨#so sorry to my charles moots but this has to be said
