On the complexity of Freedom: Who is Free? Our society defines free people defectively. Free men are not those who do whatever they want, but those who are able to decide whether to do what they want or not. Understanding this, a wise person easily realizes that freedom is not solely concerned with the ability to take a wide range of actions but to analyze the motivation of action and possessing the capacity to go against one’s instincts or motivations for sake of protecting the integrity of an individual’s character and /or not being manipulated by distractions the prevent one from the realization of the truth of the life and universe. This might sound abstract, which is, and thus I will elaborate on it by giving the following example. Beings are very similar to a woman sitting in front of a TV with the remote control in her hand to change the channel. For the women, freedom is possessing the ability to choose which Channel, movie, or song she should play and watch. This is how most of the world’s people define free action. However, in reality, for the woman to be called a free agent, she should have the ability to change the channel, but more importantly, she should posses the ability to analyze the motivation for watching a particular channel, the incentives behind turning on the TV, and ,even more important, to possess the power and capacity to turn off the TV and go to sleep if she finds it disruptive to her sleep pattern or work schedule.  Similarly for one, the power to analyze and investigate one’s motivation, instincts, and the ability to not be ruled by them is essential in determining whether one is free or has tainted or illusionary freedom

I am not what I look like here. It is the most truthful statement I making on my social media account . What I look like in social media is nothing like what I actually am.

I am just like you, I feel what you absolutely feel when you see my or other’s perfect life on social media. I feel similar to what you feel when you see others and think they are successful. Actually they also do feel the same. Man has this quality of thinking some are better, happier and greater than him. But There is a difference between me and you: I know this fact! Maybe you do too.

I have always avoided showing what I am not. At least I can say I have tried my best. I have never wanted to be the person whom people want to be like. I have never wanted be a role model. A role model makes you chase him or her. Though you might not think you are chasing, but you actually do. As long as people are guided by a role model, they can never see what their role model sees. You becomes like your role model not by following him or her but by finding and looking at what you think made your role model him or her. As long as people guide you, you will be limited by the limitations and boundaries of your own intellect and also of your role model experiences.

Some of us influence others way more than they notice, and this is what I have always wanted to minimize. I have always preferred to avoid show off and creating a different picture than I am. I would rather want those who are interested to see what I see and maybe they can interpret and experience better than me and we evolve together as one body.

you see yourself, achieveing things , one by one. Things you wish to have, and you have now. You are what you dreamt to be. But when you look at the pictures and memories, you realize those moments was meant to be lived not skipped. The always-wandering mind made you miss all those moments in taking you toward a Mirage in search of water. You will and indeed can have whatever you want but what you thought you would feel and become through possession would never happen. Beautifully uttered by Goatama the Buddha: insatiate are desires and deceptive is human mind.
