Hello! So this headcanon was asked by @mothscales and I just want to share my thoughts 💭

What if Naruto was a girl

If Naruto was a girl, I feel that the dynamic between team 7 would have been altered and maybe development of characters would have been sped up.

I feel that Sasuke would feel and the same way about Naruto whether he was a he or she was she. His hatred for Itachi at the time was far too great for him to care about have two girls on the team. As far as he knew, he was better than both of them and that oth were annoying. At least Naruto (girl) wasn't so clingy like the rest in class but at what cost? Going deaf in one ear because of the constant yelling?

Assuming that the only thing that's changed about Naruto is his gender, I feel he would be the same. I do think he'd understand Sakura a lot more, especially since he was able to be around her more as a girl than he was as a boy.

The girls in class would actually be jealous/hate Naruto more because both he and Sasuke would interact in the same shenanigans. Possibly encountering a jealous Sakura as well before being put on a team together.

Sakura would definitely feel a bit more supported by not being the only girl in the team and I feel that her development would happen a lot quicker. Being around another girl who isn't as into Sasuke as the rest were, she would definitely start finding her path a lot quicker than in Canon.

The love triangle would still rage on because DUHH both realities require a certain level of gayness to exist in their dynamic.

There would be many days of Naruto and Sakura training together, most of the time Sakura initiating as time goes on, and I feel theyd work on a couple team up take down moves

Having (girl) Naruto on the team gives Sakura more confidence to strive for better.

Lots of secrets kept between those two because DUHH only girls could understand.

This is all for now! I want to revisit this but I would love for you guys to share your own headcanon about team7 dynamic with Naruto being a girl ʘ⁠‿⁠ʘ

Dear video essay creators. A video analysis is when you analyze a piece of media. No no look at me. A summary, no matter how thorough, is not an analysis. An analysis requires you to draw conclusions about the media such as authorial intent, real-world parallels, discussion about themes/worldbuilding/character motivation, and so much more.
