About You.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Katseye Manon x Fem!Reader
Synopsis: You were living the life you always dreamed of, with the job you always dreamed of. But something in your life changed when you met your best friend's fiancée. And she was your ex-girlfriend.
Warnings: fluff, a little angst, exes to lovers, the reader is a little nerdy if that counts.
N.a: I'm back! I wrote this last week at dawn and decided to post it. English is not my first language!
You had everything you aways fought for. You managed to graduate and land your dream job, with amazing coworkers. You were happy. At least you thought you were.
At work, you met Jonas, a handsome, fun, responsible guy. He was one of your best friends at the time.
"Oh, I never showed you my fiancée, did I?" He spoke excitedly. You were drinking a bottle of wine in his living room while celebrating the company's new project.
"I don't think so" you laugh weakly
He stands up and walks to the door "Honey come here! I want to show you my friend from work" he yelled with a smile on his face.
You were eager to meet Jonas's fiancée. He always spoke highly of her, saying she must be a charming woman to meet. You braced yourself when he returned to the room and she entered.
Wait, what?
You froze.
Her.
Manon.
You didn't just know her. She was your ex-girlfriend.
You knew every inch of her body by heart, knew the taste of her lips, knew everything about her.
And now she was the fiancée of one of your close friends?
She froze too.
She also knew you like the back of her hand.
"Honey, this is Y/n! My friend from work. Y/n, this is Manon! My fiancée," Jonas introduced smiling.
"Uh... hello" you extended your hand to her gently, trying to sound as formal as possible
"Hi..." She shook your hand slowly, as if she was afraid to touch you. You couldn't help but feel your stomach turn when your hands touched, it was almost like a feeling of mixed nostalgia.
At some point Jonas left to go to the bathroom and Manon sat silently beside you, far enough away that you weren't touching but close enough for you to smell her perfume, which was still the same. And it made your stomach hurt.
"Bride, huh?" You murmured without looking at her, you knew she was already staring at you and you honestly didn't know how you were going to maintain eye contact with your friend's fiancée who you deeply loved.
"Yeah, I..." She sighed "I'm so sorry, Y/n." She spoke softly, almost as if she was measuring each word so as not to hurt you.
"It's okay, Manon." You spoke equally quietly, you hadn't seen her in a long time but your chest still tightened.
You didn't break up with fighting, arguing or hating. It was all very subtle, for the good of both of us. She had to go back to Switzerland for college, and you were putting in too much effort with the entrance exams. It was all for the best. At least that's what you've been saying all these years.
"You did it... You graduated in engineering like you wanted... That's great." She said and you felt like crying. From the beginning, she was there, supporting you, encouraging you, helping you with the entrance exams.
And in the end, she didn't even know if you had gotten into college or not.
"Yeah... I did that." You stared at her. Her eyes were still the same ones you fell in love with years ago, she looked at you like you were still everything to her, and maybe that was the worst part. "By the way, congratulations on your wedding."
You saw her eyebrows furrow slightly, a habit she had when you said something that struck her. She felt your words deeply. You knew it.
"Y/n..." She whispered, still holding your gaze, it was like a thin line between pain and everything. Everything you could feel at once.
You quickly got up from the couch when Jonas came back, he didn't notice the tension between the two of you, nor how Manon looked at you when you said you needed to leave.
════╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
You were at Jonas's house again, it was his birthday and the living room was already full of people drinking, dancing and talking happily and excitedly, you honestly didn't feel comfortable being in the middle of the crowd so you decided to sit on the porch bench watching the rain.
"Why did I know you would be here?" Manon came over and sat down next to him with a small smile, the bench was small so their knees were almost touching.
"Were you looking for me?" You stared at her, she was incredibly beautiful. This made you smile back.
"I was" She looked at you still with that little smile that made your heart clench
"Why?"
She didn't answer you, she just stared at you in silence, you were relatively close and it made you feel butterflies in your stomach, almost as if you were a 15-year-old teenager again.
She leaned her knee against yours, a simple gesture that you tried to ignore but it seemed like it meant something, you hoped that deep down it meant something, anything.
"When is the wedding?" The words came out of your mouth without you being able to control them.
She hesitated for a second. "At the end of the year, I think..."
You just nod, looking away to face the rain again.
"Are you going? To the wedding?" Her voice trembled slightly.
"I don't know if I can." You replied still without looking at her, the rain seemed like the best option.
You guys were silent again.
"Do you remember our first date?" She lightly pushed your knee and you turned to face her, she still had a small smile "You pulled me to dance in the rain, remember?"
"Yeah... I was young and stupid" You scoffed
"I don't think it's stupid." She got up from the bench and held out her hand to you. "Let's dance in the rain."
"Manon-" You tried to resist, to tell her all the reasons why you shouldn't accept, but her hand outstretched toward you and her smile were stronger than anything now.
"Come on, Y/n"
You held her hand and she pulled you into the rain, you both quickly got soaked but that didn't matter at the moment. You moved together, giggling and dancing as if you were still teenagers.
And you came to the conclusion that you still loved her. You never stopped.
She stopped with her hands on your waist, your arms around her neck. You swayed back and forth slowly. Gentle. Romantic. As if everything was back in place.
"I missed you..." You whispered
she nodded "I missed you too"
You don't remember exactly how it happened, but one moment you were staring at each other with small smiles and the next your mouth was glued to hers. She kissed you as if you were still hers, and it somehow hurt your chest. Because she was engaged to someone else. And worse, she was engaged to your best friend.
"Manon..." You whispered against her lips
"Shhh I know, darling" she whispered back "Me too"
Everything was kind of implicit. The way you kissed in the rain, the way she looked at you, your feelings, her feelings, how she took you to her apartment at the end of the night. It was wrong, you knew it. But you wanted to have her at least one last time.
You woke up with your head lying against her chest, you were curled up in her bed with a warm blanket over both of you.
You got up, slowly dodging her hug and getting out of bed, she was still sleeping with a cute expression on her face, this made you smile. You kissed the top of her head and grabbed your phone, walking to the kitchen, you were wearing one of her sweatshirts that she lent you the night before, it was a little bigger than you, but it had the right size.
Your cell phone was still off so you waited for it to call as you sat at the dining table with a glass of water in your hands. Some messages from Jonas flashed on your screen as you opened his conversation.
- Hey, did you leave?
- Is everything okay?
- Have you seen Manon?
- I think she left.
- They said you two talked.
- Are you with her?
- Y/n?
You just turned off your phone and sighed.
"what the fuck did I do..." you muttered to yourself
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
It was late at night, you were sketching out some projects sitting at your desk, the yellow light from your lamp was soft and brought calm to your room.
Your cell phone rang a few times, but you decided to ignore it, thinking it was a bill. There was no reason for anyone to call you so late. But the calls didn't stop.
You grab your phone to turn it off but see the number you saved years ago: my manz<3
The photo you lovingly selected years ago, of her sleeping with her head on your shoulder, made your chest ache. You should have deleted that number years ago, but you couldn't.
"Hello?" You answer the phone a little nervously.
"Y/n" She murmurs "Are you home?"
"Yes, why? Is everything okay?
"I am arriving."
His heart raced. Why would Manon be coming to his house late at night in the middle of the week?
She rang your doorbell a few minutes later, and you opened the door without hesitation. You were wearing warm Hello Kitty pajamas while she walked through your door wearing a black leather jacket and jeans. She looked stunning as always.
"I broke up with him." Her voice was low, you hadn't even sat down or anything.
"What?"
"I broke up with Jonas."
The air felt a little heavy, you wanted to be sad for your best friend, you wanted to be sad for Manon, but you didn't.
"Why?"
"Because I don't love him, Y/n" She stared at you intensely, the house was a little dark but you could still see all her features "I love you."
She came closer and kissed you, without warning, without creating any atmosphere, she just kissed you because she loved you. You could feel your chest beating faster in your chest. She broke up with her fiancé... because of you?
The two of you sat on your bed, the lamp still subtly lighting the room, her hands were intertwined with yours while your head was resting on her shoulder. You didn't really know what you were doing, you were just enjoying each other's company.
She gave a light kiss on the top of your head. "Do you still draw or are you just a professional now?"
You chuckle "It depends, I don't have much time to focus on drawing random things anymore, but if you want I can draw something for you"
"Do you remember the drawing you made for me when I got back to Switzerland?" She sighs "It was a flower, you said you'd tell me the meaning when I got back..."
You lift your head from her shoulder and look at her. "It was a lily of the valley." You smile. "It means happiness, purity, and love... I wanted you to be happy. I thought you were the purest person, and I loved you."
"That's cute." She smiles, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear "I love you, Y/n" She whispers
"I love you too, Manon," you whisper back, smiling.
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
You were sitting on Manon's bed scribbling something in your notebook while she finished getting ready in the bathroom. You had agreed to go out later to celebrate the completion of your biggest project.
"How do I look?" She came out of the bathroom wearing a black crop top and wide leg pants, matching all star sneakers on her feet.
"You look beautiful, dear!" You smile at her
"Thank you, are you drawing?" She comes over and sits next to you on the bed.
You nodded and handed her the notebook. "It's a perpetual, it means eternal love."
"Oh... you still draw flowers" she smiled "Speaking of eternal love" She stood up and took something from her pocket "Maybe... you'll marry me?" She knelt down opening the small red box
You chuckled, "Marriage? We started dating again like 6 months ago."
"Yes, but well... We were together before, that counts, doesn't it?" She smiles and you nod
"Yeah, that counts." You pulled her into a passionate kiss. "But to answer your question, yes, I want to marry you, Manon."
She smiled and ran to the wardrobe, grabbing something there "I didn't know about everlastings so I bought lilies of the valley" she holds out a bouquet of lilies of the valley
"You're kidding... They're my favorite flowers" you said excitedly and took the bouquet from her hands "I love you, I love you so much"
"I love you too so much" she left a soft kiss on his temple "I'm finally going to marry the right person!" She whispered

For Good (part.2)

Katseye Sophia x Fem! Reader
Synopsis: After run-ins with the wonderful wizard, all of Oz is after Sophia with claims that she is the Wicked Witch of the West. But only you knew the truth behind it all.
Warnings: Angst, mentions of death (superficial), contains spoilers for Wicked (it is completely inspired by that universe)
Part 1: here
Sophia Laforteza was never an wicked witch and you knew that more than anyone.
It had been 3 years since the events at the wizard's tower, and there was about an hour left until you married the commander of the hunt against the wicked witch, but you didn't like him. Not at all.
Your one and only is Sophia.
You check yourself in the mirror again, the dress looked good on you, it made you look really pretty.
But even so, you didn't feel happy.
"You're really getting married, huh?" You were startled by the sudden voice behind you. Her voice.
You turned around. Sophia was sitting on your windowsill with a small smile. It had been three long years since you had seen her, and she was still the most beautiful person you had ever seen.
"What are you doing here?" Your voice trembled.
"Are you okay?" She countered with another question and you flinched. Are you okay?
"I guess I am." You sigh. "I have to be. It's my wedding day."
You see her smile fade a little, something in her body language said that she didn't like the idea of you marrying someone else.
"Y/n, I..." She paused. It looked like she was fighting her own thoughts, "I missed you."
"Yeah... Me too." You wanted to hug her, kiss her all over her face and tell her to stay. But you couldn't.
You are the good witch. She is the wicked witch.
You could never be together.
You shouldn't love her.
"I'm going to go now, you need to get ready for your big day"
"No! Sophia, wait." You approached her, your hand in the air wanting to touch her. She smiled.
"Don't go" You whisper
"Why not?" She wanted you to say it. She wanted you to say those words that had been running through your mind for the past three years. You wanted to too. But you couldn't.
"They're hunting you out there"
She nodded "Yeah. I know."
You didn't get married that night. You couldn't.
Not when Sophia kissed you before running away again when there were almost 20 minutes left until you were going to walk down the aisle and marry someone else. You just called off the wedding with some lame excuse.
It took you a while to see her again, you heard rumors, many rumors. None of them were true.
You knew Sophia. You knew she wasn't what everyone wanted her to be.
She was good.
You saw her two months after her failed marriage. When, due to a tornado created by the wizard, a house fell on her sister. Poor Yoonchae.
"What are you doing here?" She sounded irritated. Honestly, she was absolutely right.
Her little sister was crushed by a house and you were there.
Of course you would be. You're Y/n, the good one.
"They sent me here..." You shivered slightly.
"Of course they did." She huffs and crosses her arms.
You two were silent for a while, it wasn't as comfortable a silence as it used to be, she was angry, sad. You didn't know what to do.
Until you saw the guards approaching along that damned yellow brick road that you helped the wizard choose before everything happened.
They ran quickly towards where you were. You knew what they wanted.
"Sophia, run." You told her more firmly than you had ever spoken to her before. At this point, you were shaking, afraid that she would be caught.
"What? And you?" She responded with the same intensity.
"Don't worry about me, you're the one they want"
"But Y/n-" She tried to hold your hand but you took a step back, the guards were now almost there.
"Sophia, go." You almost screamed.
She stumbled back and ran, you saw her turn around a few times to look at you as she ran. For a moment you wished you had gone with her.
You only went to see Sophia after almost two weeks, when she locked the girl Dorothy in the basement. You decided to go there on your own.
Before someone worse goes there first.
"Now you kidnap little children, Sophia?" You approached her. She was holding that damn grimmerie.
"She had my sister's shoes on." She sighed. "Things are getting worse, Y/n."
"I know Soph... But they'll get better, I trust that"
"Keep this... please." She handed you the grimmerie, you feared she was thinking the same thing as you.
"Sophia..." You whispered, taking the book from her, your fingers touching hers more than necessary.
"You know... You were the only friend I ever had." She smiled at you with teary eyes.
"And I've had so many friends..." She laughed lightly at your comment "But only one matters."
She looks at you in silence, her gaze making you remember the nights in Shiz when she looked at you with those intense eyes, as if she wanted to memorize you.
"I'm gonna miss you" She whispers
"Don't say this like it's a goodbye," you whispered. She was being searched for all over town, it was only a matter of time before she was caught. But deep down you still had hope.
"Maybe it could be one" She reached out and held his hand "In case we never see each other again in this life... I ask for your forgiveness, Y/n. For everything I've done"
"Sophia, no." You squeezed her hand. "Don't say that."
"But it's true. I was the wicked in this story and I dragged you into it with me. You didn't deserve to go through this, you shouldn't be here." She spoke calmly, but seemed to be struggling with an internal conflict.
"I'm here because I love you." You spoke a little quickly, without thinking properly, and she held her breath when she heard you.
"Don't say that," she whispered, her voice trembling gently.
"Why not?"
"Because you're Y/n, the good one. And I'm just the wicked witch of the west. I can't fall in love with you." She sighed.
"You're not a wicked witch to me, you never were. You're just... Sophia. The Sophia who was my roommate, my friend... my first kiss" you got closer "You are the Sophia I fell in love with... And because I knew you, I have be changed for good"
You leaned in and kissed her. Tense, passionate, tentative. Completely forgetting that downstairs was a little girl who would completely ruin your happiness. Dorothy.
It was almost 3 o'clock in the morning when loud rumors arose in Oz.
You were still awake. Anxious, worried. A bad feeling had been hanging over your body since 6pm the day before.
Until those rumors reached your ears. Quick, cold, as if it were nothing.
You ran towards the castle where Sophia was hiding, your vision blurred by the tears that flowed without stopping, the tips of your fingers white gripping the grimmerie tightly.
The road was lit only by the moonlight, but you didn't feel afraid of the dangers of the night. Not now.
Now your biggest fear was that those rumors were true. They couldn't be.
You couldn't lose her.
You arrived running desperately, almost tripping on the stairs as you went up.
When you reached the top, you froze.
Your heart was beating fast and painful in your chest, the grimmerie you had previously held tightly was now on the floor, forgotten.
You took a step forward, the floor was wet, a bucket was thrown carelessly on the floor and a hat. That hat you remembered very well. You had bought that hat for her the day you arrived in the emerald city.
You bent down and picked up the hat in your arms, it still had her scent on it.
There was that famous rumor since college that it melted with water. You thought it was a lie, a bad joke, you even laughed about it.
But now, seeing all this in front of you, you started to believe that stupid rumor.
You don't know exactly how long you sat there, on the wet floor, hugging the hat and smelling her perfume. But you saw the room lighten up when the day arrived, the sun's rays burning your swollen eyes, all you wanted now was Sophia.
But you couldn't have her.
Not anymore.
You loved her. You loved Sophia more than you've ever loved anyone.
But now she's gone.
The more you watched the happy munchkins celebrating that no one mourns the wicked, the more your heart ached.
Because you knew. You mourn the wicked.
And worse, you loved, and still love her.
It was your secret: Y/n the good witch had always been in love with Sophia Laforteza, the wicked witch of the west.

Katseye Sophia x Fem! Reader
Synopsis: After run-ins with the wonderful wizard, all of Oz is after Sophia with claims that she is the Wicked Witch of the West. But only you knew the truth behind it all.
Warnings: fluff, a bit of angst, contains spoilers for Wicked (it's completely inspired by that universe).
n/a: This is my first work so I apologize if I didn't do very well, I'm thinking about maybe bringing a part 2. English is not my first language!
"Good news! The wicked witch is finally dead!" The munchkins celebrated happily all over Oz.
You knew you had duties to fulfill as the good witch. But you just couldn't.
Not when the wicked witch was Sophia Laforteza. Who was once your best friend. And the love of your life.
The memories of the time when you two studied in Shiz pierced your chest like a dagger. But you forced yourself to leave. You had to smile when you confirmed her death. Even if it meant a part of you was dying along with her.
You're Y/n, the good one. And you needed to act like it.
"Miss Y/n? Is it true that you two were friends?" One of the munchkins asked after you confirmed Sophia's meltdown. And that question hurt.
"Friends? Well... Yes!" The buzz grew louder "I mean... I knew her. Our pasts crossed... In college"
You remember very well when you received the news that Sophia would be your roommate. You tried very hard to ignore and even hate each other, but none of that helped when your eyes lingered on her for longer than normal or how your heart beat faster when you saw her laughing when you did something stupid.
It all started very smoothly, very gently. But it became huge in a short time.
"Do you like Sophia? The Sophia I know? Sophia Laforteza?" Your best friend, Manon, was the first to know. Not in the way you wanted, of course. She just read your diary one random afternoon when she was in your room.
"Well... Yes"
"Y/n, you know very well what she's like... so many people here in Shiz and you fell in love with Sophia?" You knew that Sophia had a somewhat troubled history, especially for supporting the animal causes that were so talked at that time.
"It's not like I chose this." You shrugged and Manon laughed softly.
She opened her mouth to say something – probably to tease you – but closed it immediately when the door opened and her roommate walked in.
You decided to ignore how her eyes softened when they met yours, and the small, unbidden smile that played across her lips.
Because that couldn't mean anything. Right?
You remember in flashbacks the first time you kissed Sophia.
In the second semester of your first year at Shiz, the Ozdust ball took place. Do you remember seeing Sophia being excluded, which had become quite common. Some people even laughed at her for be alone.
You remember how your chest hurt when you saw that situation and the way you walked slowly towards her, like a bride walking down the aisle. You asked her to dance and she accepted.
Her hands rested softly on your waist, as if she was afraid to hold you. Your hands held tightly around Sophia's neck as you moved slowly across the room to the rhythm of the music.
You could feel the eyes of everyone around you judging you. But that didn't matter at the moment.
You ran together, hand in hand, smiling at each other, through the halls of Shiz until you stopped at your shared room.
The two of you were lying on her bed, with her looking at you like you were a treasure. Maybe you really did mean that to her.
"Why?" She whispers softly, afraid of breaking the good mood that was between you "why me?"
"I... I don't know." You whisper back, looking at her intently. "You make me feel... things."
You didn't want to admit it to yourself, but the way Sophia's lips glistened under the dim light of the lamp made you want to taste them. She noticed that.
She noticed your lingering gaze on her lips.
And then she leaned in and kissed you.
It was soft, even romantic, your slightly trembling hands cupping her cheeks, her hands tracing soft circles on your waist. If this was a dream, you didn't want to wake up. Not now.
You remember the letter Sophia received from the wonderful Wizard of Oz and when you embarked together towards the Emerald City, your hands never letting go of hers.
The emerald city was beautiful, happy and even a little funny if you looked closely.
It suited her. It suited both of you.
And you loved it.
The encounter with the Wizard was intense, unexpected. It's not even close to what you had fantasized about.
You remember a book, the grimmerie, and how Sophia would pronounce one of those indecipherable spells as if her tongue were incapable of stopping.
And that sealed her fate.
You stared in terror at the agonizing monkeys with wings growing on their backs while the Wizard had a scary smile on his face.
She did it. Influenced by the wonderful wizard of Oz.
Sophia ran, ran from the Wizard, ran from the guards who were hunting her. And you? You went with her, to a certain extent.
"Y/n, come with me. Think about what we can do together."
You wanted to go. You wanted to get on that damn enchanted broom and fly all over Oz.
But something is stopping you and you don't know what.
"So, are you coming?" She looks at you with teary eyes.
"Soph..." Your mind was screaming at you to accept her proposal. You really wanted to go with her. But you didn't.
"You'll be fine, anyway. They like you." She said fondly. Her eyes looked at you as if it was the last time you would see each other.
Maybe it would be.
"Are you going to be okay?" You ask with a shaky voice.
"I honestly don't know," she whispers, gently cupping your face, "But you will. And that's what matters."
"Sophia..." You whispered, the pain clearly present in your voice. And she kissed you.
It was slow, gentle, full of unshared feelings. Deep down you both knew, but you never said anything.
You quickly moved away when you heard loud knocks on the doors, the Wizard's guards were about to enter.
"Sophia, you need to go." You looked deep into her eyes as you said this.
You loved her.
She held her broom tightly, ready to run away as Oz's number one enemy. As the wicked witch.
"Y/n..." She turned to you and gave you one last peck on the lips "I love you"
You nodded and she jumped out the window, flying away on her broom.
Tears streamed down your cheeks as you watched Sophia defy gravity away from you.
You tried to ignore it, but that pain in your chest was real.
