Hello everyone, I hate to say it, but I'm going to be putting this blog on indefinite hiatus. As you guys may have noticed, activity for this blog has dropped considerably, and there's really no way of putting it otherwise, but my interest in Naruto has waned considerably lately. Now, I doubt this will be permanent, as this happened years ago before interest rekindled later on, as Naruto is a fandom I can't quite keep away from. However, I'm in one of those low periods and have to face facts. I will be back, this won't be forever, but for now I am going to take a hiatus until my passion returns. When it does, I'll see you all then. - Mod Calis

I want to write this post about how Sakura is not actually useless and debunk her haters. But then I realize that this is a lot more complicated to unpack. 

I realize that I barely remember the war arc, but I do know she was useful for the entirety of that arc. And also healers are not given much credit. Half of the anti-fandom have the same recycled point they’ve probably heard from Naruto youtube anyway. 

Most of it is from fans who only watched the anime, which makes weird decisions around adapting Sakura’s character. I’ve also seen posts with incorrect translations floating around, and just a slew of people getting all up in arms about Sakura.

Broken - Chapter 11

Chapter 11 - excerpt:

“Shit.” She is not prepared for dancing, she is not prepared at all. For one, she’s never ‘swung’ in her life. Two, Madara is definitely a dance-all-nighter. 

“I’m glad I’m not the only one with that response,” a voice says right next to her ear.  

She turns to see a white head of spiky hair she hasn’t seen in years. “Kakashi!” She can’t contain her energy or enthusiasm. She glomps him in a side hug. 

He gives her shoulder a squeeze before breaking away. “Good to see my favorite student, although I’d hoped under much better circumstances. I think if we leave now, we can still escape.”  --------------------

Sakura sighed and finally let herself free, untying her hair and stretching her sore muscles. She dropped to the floor and just lay with her pink hair strewn around her in a halo, staring thoughtfully at the ceiling as she rested.

“Welcome to Konoha,” she whispered to herself with a smile.

So this is a redraw from one of my first MadaSaku drawings. I’d say it’s definitely a lot better but I know it can be better. I focused more wear their hands are, notice Sakura wiping the lipstick off Madara’s mouth (and where else she’s kissed) What do you think? Btw I won’t be surprised if this gets taken off for obvious reasons *looks down at Madara’s 😳🫣*
