I’m sorry I couldn’t wish everyone a Merry Christmas on here during the Christmas period. It’s normally busy around that time of the year so I wasn’t able to post on that day >.< But I hope everyone had a good Christmas and got a lot of good presents :D

I also want to apologise for not being here very much this year like I hoped >.< It was a bit of a busy year with IRL, work, and other things, so it made it a bit hard to be here every day or very much throughout the year. For 2022 I'll do my best to be here a bit more often, even if it's once a week and still continue to be Tsubasa trash xD

Early in the new year I'll also catch up on messages, asks and finish off my list of works Tsubasa did in 2021 and what's currently lined up for 2022 ❤

[Photo Edit] Happy 32nd Birthday Sakiyama Tsubasa! ❤

Today is Tsubasa’s 32nd Birthday!! :D

This year has been another big year for Tsubasa! He has had a lot more TV appearances on variety programs as well as dramas such as playing the male lead in a short romance drama, playing a male lead in a short romance story to promote a car every Saturday for a month, and being in his own TV show going to different Jinja's. Along many other works such as helping people pass their Jinja Kentei exams with his own radio show, finding the culprit in a murder mystery, doing a thrilling online reading event, doing a voice only reading of the same Dream Stage Dokusougeki story, playing a school council president that's focused on experimentation and identity, releasing a mini album, along with a movie theme song and doing a live for his mini album at Billboard Japan venues, collaborating on custom wireless earphones, creating and producing 2 different types of curry, playing our cool, calm and collected Kuroto in 2 new movies again, playing a boke in a drama that will have a stage in December, to now currently playing as a producer that creates a band with his younger brother and classmates that are all studying to become dentists. And this is only for this year! xD Next year he already has 2 dramas announced and voicing a character in an anime for January next year, a movie in May and a stage in March! :D

I will forever continue to love and support this boke no matter what happens! No matter what happens, he makes me smile, he makes me laugh, and in many ways he can put me at ease after a rough day at work. In the end, I am glad I choose him as my oshi and to be a fan of his ❤ I try to buy what I can, when I can, to support him and watch him overcome every goal he sets for himself. Along with seeing all of the hard work and effort he puts into everything he does. Even if I’m not active on tumblr as much as I used to be, I will always be Tsubasa trash xD He is a soft, boke, kind-hearted man who has given me the greatest time of my life for 4 years, and I’m forever thankful to him for every single moment ❤

I hope that this year coming will be another wonderful year for him, full of health, love and support! Happy 32nd Birthday Tsubasa! ❤

[Personal] Since I can't really do anything on Twitter right now...

Since I know that most of my followers on Twitter are here, I might as well say a few words here and what's going on since I don't think many people can see my tweets >.<;

On Wednesday Twitter decided to limit the amount of likes and RT's I can do because they believe that I've breached their spam policy. Mind you I barely liked or RTed anything that day anyway. I sent in an appeal with twitter support the same day (as it didn't give me any option to verify myself at all when I got the notice on the app, only to continue to twitter and deal with the limits) and they haven't gotten back to me at all. The limit was only set for 3 days. 3 days has passed and it's still there and twitter support haven't gotten back to me about my appeal. So I can't like or RT anything, it's limited to a few likes/RT's per day which sucks (as Tsubasa is currently on stage and the shonichi was yesterday >.<), but I'm just trying to deal with it and do what I can. I can't even comment on anything because since I'm marked for breaking the spam policy, people don't get notifications for when I comment. So I've been a bit quiet there for that reason >.<; It was meant to be over today, but I haven't been informed of it being over and I still can't like/RT as much, so hopefully it'll be gone by Monday or eventually soon... as well as fill in a few gaps xD

[Info] Work/Releases From Sakiyama Tsubasa in 2021 So Far!

This little post will consist of stage/music/TV work Tsubasa has done or is currently doing since January 2021. Goods releases from Tsubasa which are Billboard Live goods, his curry and his 2021-22 calendar I will leave off the list as some of those are already it's past the order deadline, sold out or they don't ship it overseas (in particular the curry due to the meat in it). I will also exclude magazines too which can be hard to track down.

I won't give all of the links to the places where you can buy these items from, just the main links for people outside of Japan, unless the only purchase link is one inside of Japan. But if wanting those links, let me know and I can gladly send them to you :) And any images of the work I won't be posting, but you will be able to see them to the links added for each work/release.

January

Sakiyama Tsubasa's 1st TV show 'TsubaTabi' aired on TVK on January 11th with 10 episodes in total. It's Tsubasa travelling to different shrines (Jinja's) and getting to know more about them, with weekly guest Sato Takashi. A general sale of the DVD has already started and is available on TVK Shop until July 31st 11:59pm JST: HERE

It was announced that Sakiyama Tsubasa would be part of the short 4 episode drama '140-Ji no Koi', playing the male lead Tsubuya Shuhei.

Sakiyama Tsubasa was in the 'IkeDora' corner on 'Doyou ni Nani wo Suru!?' on KansaiTV for the whole month, ranging in 4 episodes in total. IkeDora was a corner that involves a drama/story whilst in collaboration with Nissan to promote the newest car model in each episode.

March

Sakiyama Tsubasa's first mini album 'latte' was announced, release was set for April 21st. You can find it available on CDJapan: HERE

'140-Ji no Koi' broadcasting started on March 5th. The episodes are available to watch on Amazon Prime Japan and Hulu Japan (which can't be accessed overseas).

On March 10th, it was announced that Sakiyama Tsubasa would be in the first online live event for the TV show 'Mr. Toshi Densetsu Seki Akio no Zokutto suru Kai Kan Hanashi' on March 20th. Unfortunately the live streaming site wasn't available for people overseas.

It was announced that Sakiyama Tsuabsa will be doing a live at Billboard Yokohama, Billboard Tokyo and Billboard Osaka. The Yokohama performance has already taken place on May 14th. On March 23rd, it was announced that Sakiyama Tsubasa would be in the stage called 'Takahashi Yuya × Toei Theater Project TXT Vol.2 「ID」', where Tsubasa will play 'The Student Council President'. Cast, visuals and performance run dates can be found on the official website: HERE

On March 31st, it was announced that Sakiyama would be doing a radio show called 'Sakiyama Tsubasa Jinja no Jikan', which is an collaboration with the annual Jinja Kentei 'Shinto Culture Exam' with 13 episodes in total, where Tsubasa talks to various guests and talks about some of the questions that may be on the exam. Each new episode is released on Saturday at 12pm JST. The radio show started on April 3rd. You can listen to it on AuDee: HERE and can be downloaded on your phone (available on Android and iOS overseas).

April

On April 6th Sakiyama Tsubasa's mini album 'latte' had an MV released of one of the new songs 'Sakebe'. You can watch the MV on YouTube: HERE

On April 11th, it was announced that Sakiyama Tsubasa would be playing Hijikata Toshizou on the WOWOW Original Drama 'Hakuouki'. Cast and broadcast details are still TBA. Tsubasa's character visual can be found: HERE

On April 23rd, Sakiyama Tsubasa was on J-WAVE 'ALL GOOD FRIDAY' for a 2nd time in the 'HAPPY DATE' corner. You can read his date plan: HERE

On April 30th, it was announced that Dokusougeki Dream Stage were doing a part 2 of the first Dream Stage performances did last year with new people and different stories. Sakiyama Tsubasa has participated once again and had redone 'Hashire Merosu'. But this time it's done as an audio track instead of an MV-like story. Tsubasa's was released the day it was announced. On May 8th the character visuals for 'Takahashi Yuya × Toei Theater Project TXT Vol.2 「ID」' were released. You can see the visuals: HERE

Personal: It's My Birthday Tomorrow & Being MIA Here *anxious face*

Hi everyone! It's been quite a few months since I was on here last and posted, so I hope everyone is doing well :D

I've been a bit MIA here and not posting as I had planned due to starting work and it's been keeping me pretty busy each week/day. So after this whilst I have some time (as my state has gone back into lockdown for 7 days, but it may be continued), I'll make a short post with some of the work/releases Sakiyama Tsubasa has done since the start of the year with a very short summary of the details :)

I would do some translating but it would be hard for me to find the time to do it since I work mainly afternoon/evenings from home, and I wouldn't even know where to start since it's been a while since the last translation I did was done. But if anyone wants any tweet/insta/blog post translated of Tsubasa's, feel free to send me an ask/DM with the link and I shall gladly do it when I get the time :) As I would like to keep improving on my skills and not get rusty when not doing it for long periods of time ^^;

As mentioned in the title, it's my birthday tomorrow xD But the annoying part is that I still have to work as it's on a Monday, but that's adulting for you xD I haven't had any time to plan or prepare anything for my birthday as I have in previous years, so I think I'll have to skip this year or post something at a later date, I'm sorry guys >.<

~ MARIO’S OWN BASEBALL TEAM PROJECT – ACTORS LEAGE 2021 ~

Mario updated his Twitter ^^ He announced the big project he mentioned yesterday and his manager gave a hint about the other day and wrote:

“This time I’ll take my duty as the planning producer and captain of ‘ACTORS☆LEAGUE 2021’! I’ll have the joy to play a baseball match that I love so much with my beloved seniors and important comrades at Tokyo Dome! Therefore at that time I want to bring smile to everyone. I’m looking forward to it! actors-league.com #ActorsLeage #ACTORSLEAGE ”

So! The big announcement so many 2.5D actors tweeted about yesterday is this big baseball project Mario started. ^^ Moreover, it won’t be a baseball match only, they’ll have various performances as well! Also a part of the profits will be donated to medical professionals who fight at the front lines against the new corona virus.

Mario left the following message on the official site:

“This time, I’m Kuroba Mario, serving as planning producer [of the event] and the captain of the team BLACK WINGS.

I’m really grateful to the wonderful cast members who gathered to play my beloved baseball with me! I’ll do my best to create the best baseball [match] & entertainment for the fans as the producer, and as a captain I’ll work hard to lead my team steadily!

My goal is to strike an extra large home run that hits the sign board of Tokyo Dome!

I’d like to engrave this historical match in everyone’s heart, so by all means please look forward to it!”

Hello! I absolutely love your lengthy list of Tsubasa's works with links, it's really so helpful and thank you so much for making it. I was sure it took you days. But, do you think he would get anything from the sales of works not promoted as "sakiyama" (like stages and dramas). I'd imagine the actors get paid for the projects and don't earn anything from goods. It's a genuine question, I don't mean to offend you...Also, which would be your fav show/stage he's in that you'd recommend for buying?

Hi anon! My sincere apologies for the late response >.< It has been a bit of a busy year, so I was unable to find the time to respond. 

Thank you for the kind words and you’re welcome for the list! It did take a fair while to make, and a few weeks ago I wanted to edit it with some things I forgot about at the time (as well as new things since then), but it was making the post too long and I couldn’t edit it further >.< So I’m currently in the middle of moving the links from that post to a direct link on my tumblr that is in subsections to make everything easier to find and read. Plus it’ll allow me to put more into it that way xD

It’s okay, you’re not offending me at all! Sometimes it’s good to get some clarity on these things :) I’ll just put the rest under a cut as it’s a little bit long xD

When it comes to stages and dramas, that can be a tricky one. When it comes to stages, usually the ticket sales and certain goods allow a 2.5D actor to earn money and be promoted. The certain type of goods that gives an actor direct profit is bromides (photo sets). Photo sets are cheap and the one thing fans always go for. Because you’re buying bromides of a particular actor/character, they get some of the earnings directly from the sales. And if the character is popular and their bromides sell out, it indicated the demand of the actor, as well as their popularity. So if their bromide sells well, their pay will be higher and could lead them to other job opportunities. Bromides are very important when it comes to stages, so if you ever have the opportunity to get a set of bromides, please do :D

I should also mention, since he’s an artist, if you buy his CDs/Live’s, he will also make a profit from those sales as well. As well as goods from his fansite (since he’s a freelancer now) too!

That’s such a tough one! I love all of his work xD But, if I had to narrow it down, I would recommend Toumyu (Trial Performance, Atsukashiyama Ibun (2016 and 2018), Mihotose no Komori-Uta (2017 and 2019), Shinken Ranbu Sai (2016, 2017 and 2018), Toumyu in Itsukushima Jinja and Utaawase Ranbu Kyouran 2019), Oretabi in Hawaii and South Korea, Ochanomizu Rock (Drama and Stage), Kurogarasu Part 1 and 2 (Movies), Koukokugaisha Danshi Ryou no Okazu-kun (Drama and Movie), Yu Yu Hakusho (2019 adaption and Part 2 (2020)) and that’s about it? xD I would recommend all of them but I think this list might do for now xD Just a variety of different things where he’s different in all of them :D

hi pam! so i downloaded the shinken ranbu sai 2018 file from @thatsakuragirl since you suggested her on youtr masterlist post yesterday and i'm super excited to get back into toumyu but for some reason, the subs (which were translated by the wonderful @sohmariku) don't match up to the audio. i've tried inserting the subs for all three files (DMM, BD and DVD versions) but none of them seem to match up at all?

Personal: It’s New Years Eve Already!

I can’t believe that it’s New Years Eve already!   This year has gone by so fast, and this year has also been the most toughest for everyone in their own ways. This year for me has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced.

I had my final year of uni and a year long placement, doing placement and uni in remote learning and having  the challenge of completing and passing my graduates performance assessment to pass my degree.

This year has had many ups and downs, but I made it through thanks to my oshi and the friends I have here ♡ Thinking of some of the things I said I wanted to do this year this time last year, in particularly talking to Japanese Sakiyamania fans on Twitter and any here on Tumblr. In the end, I didn’t do it >.<

My shyness took over and was scared to reach out as I’m not confident in my Japanese. Next year I’d like to keep in contact with the Japanese Sakiyamania fans I’ve already communicated to in the past and try to reach out to others more. As well as reach out to others that follow me ♡

My fangirling (on Twitter mainly) of Tsubasa dropped a fit bit this year because of uni and placement  As I had hoped to fangirl more this year, but it became a bit difficult. But whenever I was feeling stressed, I’d always be here on SNS to see what’s happening. Next year I’ll go all out!  xD

Tsubasa has done some new things this year, such as becoming a freelancer and overseeing the production of his own curry. He also had a stage cancellation, but he was able to perform a lot this year on stage and in two dramas. I’m glad to be an international Sakiyamania fan ❤

This year I also wanted to be more active here and share the Tsubasa love than I was the last couple of years. Sadly because of uni that didn’t work out so much >.< But I did try my best to be at least semi-active and post/reblog a few things here and there. Hopefully next year I can be a bit more active and post things here and there. Even if it’s not translations or anything like that. Just short pieces of info or along the lines of that :D

Let’s hope that 2021 will be a better year and we’ll all continue to stay safe and overcome this and get back to normal *prays* Thank you to everyone this year for all of the interactions, meeting new people and let there be new and exciting things for our oshi’s next year!  ❤

So, I got the idea of creating a file, full of warm wishes of  his fans from all around the world. ^^

~ MARIO IS RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL ~

Mario updated his Twitter and Insta with an announcement we’ve been waiting for (he posted the same at both SNS). ^^ He wrote:

“Today I was discharged from the hospital safely.

This time, I sincerely apologise to all of you fans, every person concerned for causing a great trouble and a lot of concern.

The warm support and encouraging voice of all of you fans and persons concerned, and the devoted treatment of health professionals made me recover fully. Although there were also tough things during my hospital stay, because of the support of many people I could once again realize myself that I’m alive. I’m really thankful.

From now on, I’ll work hard day after day to return the kindness of everyone who has been supporting me.

It’s getting intensely cold every day, so please take care of your physical condition. I wish from my heart for the quick end of the spreading of the new coronavirus infection.

FINAL UPDATE - WE DID IT!!

My apologies for updating a day late, I have been keeping up with everything, so I know the current situation with the channel and videos. I will go over everything from my previous update on Thursday. I’ll put all of this under a cut so it’s not too long. 

Since Thursday’s update, I was informed by someone who owns a YouTube channel that any links that are put into comments on YouTube go through an approval system. Which explains why my comments would appear and then vanish since they were either approved or denied. Thank you to that kind person for the information as that helped cleared up the confusion with my comments :D

After finding out about that, I was going to edit my comments to find that only for the FIVE videos, the comment section was turned off completely. So I ended up doing some reporting of the user and the videos and decided I was going to update yesterday morning. When I woke up I had seen that everyone had noticed it and started reporting the user and videos themselves without having the need to update. Thank you so much to everyone for taking the responsibilities into your own hands. My partner and I then decided that we would get people to comment in the discussion section of their channel, so I ended up leaving a comment there not long after. I was then going to update here to get everyone to leave comments in the discussion section when less than an hour later (after I commented in the discussion section), the channel was terminated because of the copyrighted material!

We won against this channel! It is unfortunate that it did have to end like that, as they could have just taken the videos down, but sometimes these things have to happen in order to be taught a lesson. Thank you so much to each and everyone one of you that spread the word with reblogging, or posted the post on Twitter about it, commenting on the videos and everything! I am proud of all of you and my partner and I are truly thankful and blessed to have received help from all of you to get the videos taken down. Again, thank you *bows*

[PSA] Requesting Backup - Uploading of Hardsubs on YouTube *RESOLVED*

Hi everyone, yes you are reading the title correctly. My subbing partner was informed (and she told me), that there was a person on YouTube that have uploaded 6 out of 8 hardsubs of FIVE onto YouTube. So I left a comment on the first episode, asking them nicely to take them down. Unfortunately, my comment was ignored.

I was planning on leaving comments on the other videos this week with the same or similar message, to only find out today that my comment has been hidden (or they’ve blocked me) by the user. As when looking at the comment list when I’m not logged in, it doesn’t show up:

This has left me and my partner infuriated with their actions, which is why I am reaching out for help. It has been a while since I have asked for help of this sort, as in the past, when they ended up on other streaming sites (not as popular as YouTube), my partner and I decided to leave them as there was nothing we could do. But with it being YouTube where 2.5D actors themselves watch things on YouTube can come across these things, we don’t want them on there at all. Especially when they are easily accessible from us original uploaders too. How the videos even managed to get through the copyright algorithm when it was uploaded surprises me. 

With the amount of views on the videos as well, I can conclude that they must be doing it for subscribers, as their other videos don’t have a high view count. From the methods I tried so far, it is clear that they’re guilty and won’t take them down and not care about us original subbers and what we want. So I really need everyone’s help by commenting on the videos to get them to take the videos down. Even spam the comments if need be, because we don’t want them on there and they have chosen not to listen or respect our wishes and I’ve had enough of it. They also speak Español so if anyone that follows me can speak Español, please comment as well on our behalf to get them taken down.

~ MARIO TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 ~

I have a very unfortunate and sad news to report about to you.

Today it was announced on Mario’s agency’s site and on his manager’s Twitter that Mario on November 13 tested positive for Covid-19. Currently he’s in hospital and recieved treatment.

Since then the ageny’s site has been down due to the traffic, but the media reported about this as well, so I can give you all a coverage.

According the news portals: - it was suspected Mario had a close contact with an infected person on November 5, therefore he had a PCR test on November 6. It came back negative, and also the health center told them there is no suspicion of a close contact. But, - for safety reasons, a second test was made on November 8. It also came back negative. - However, yesterday Mario reported about a poor physical condition. A 3rd test was made and its result came back positive today on November 13. He was hospitalized and got treatment.

This is a very sad news, and a terribly tough time for Mario. I think the most effective way for the videos to get taken down is if they got copystriked, and since they have 6 videos of it, their channel could possibly be suspended since the maximum limit is 3 copystrikes per channel. Unfortunately as you already know only the copyright holder can claim the videos. We can either wait for them to notice the videos on YouTube or personally tip them about it, both of which could possibly make them aware of the unauthorized sharing of the vids and the subbers.

I have heard that it is the most effective way, but as you’ve mentioned only the TV channel or owners of the drama can claim copyright. But as mentioned it will bring attention to us, which is something that we don’t want. As we don’t want to get into trouble for it. Which is why commenting is the most effective way without getting into trouble >.< And especially since international fans don’t have a good reputation as is for various reasons.

In the past when similar things have happened to other people, commenting from the uploader with the help of reinforcements, it has been very effective in getting unwanted videos off of YouTube in the 2.5D fandom. I’ve been part of many of them and have helped plenty of other uploaders get their videos taken down from various sites, including YouTube. So I know that it does work, and I just hope others on here will be able to help us with commenting to help get it taken down. Because if we all spam the comments they’ll get sick of us eventually and will have to take them down. As it’s the only safe thing we can do.
