I am wondering how often this has happened... Will i respect their wishes to the extent of not directly putting it in their face (but why am i tagging them or showing it to them?)? Sure, if I'm aware of it. Will it stop me from shipping said characters and creating/enjoying fanfic and fanart? Absolutely not.
I doubt I will ever publish any of my original stories, but if I did, I cannot tell you how much i do not give a fuck. You're allowed to feel uncomfortable by things, but people will do what they do. And it's not like I'm gonna read fanfic of my own story so what do i care?
If the creator or something explicitly states they don’t want two characters shipped will you respect it?
