Okay! So first of all

Dating rage-filled Bakugou Katsuki was not how people expected. I don't think anyone around him even expected him to actually date someone lmao. It totally surprised you when he had asked you out behind your class's dorm building but it surprised you even more when he asked to hug you after accepted his confession. He'd receive more than hugs a few weeks later.

Bakugou would be sweet, caring, observant and considerate as a boyfriend. He'd be a bit shy too because all the stuff he's doing is his first time.

I'm a believer of Bakugou not having relationships before UA because he loves proving people they're stupid too much.

In his Bakugou fashion, though, he'll do his best to make things perfect.

But, he'd always leave you needy for attention. He always prioritized his Hero studies too much that you had probably gone out more and been more touchy with your friends than him.

You understood him, yes. The two of you were still highschool students, after all but cancelled dates and him sleeping on you during a late night call frustrated you a lot. Being needy and worried strained your own mental health, too.

“Are we even dating?” you ask as you hold out your phone in front of you. He had once again cancelled a date through a late night video call. “We barely even see each other anymore.”

He nods at you in this indifferent manner, “Then let's fuckin’ break up and get it over with. That's what you want, too, right?”

“Yes.”

That's how the two of you end your relationship.

Flash forward to now, it's your last year in UA.

Although the breakup sucked, Bakugou and yoh had decided to be friends. Well, mostly, you.

You couldn't help it! You've witnessed Bakugou's soft side and now you know he's actually a good guy inside.

And he rolls along with it, a bit flattered you'd still keep in contact with him. The concept of exes being friends is probably very foreign for Bakugou Katsuki.

But, he's not complaining.

He won't tell you but he likes it.

(Kirishima knows though, Kirishima always seems to know whatever the fuck is going on inside the explosive boy's head. Good for Kiri.)

Especially when he gets to know if you'd gotten rid of the aftertaste of him.

To his disdain, you did.

Three months after the breakup, you video call him on one of his free nights and you ask him which dress looked good on you.

“The red one looks less ridiculous,” he says as he leans into his chair and read the same paragraph in his textbooks for the nth time. “Whatcha clowning up for?”

“Mean,” you frown at him and take his advice, stepping aside to change. “I've scored a date.”

Bakugou's just glad you didn't see his astonished bulged out eyes expression. “With who?”

Your head pops back in the screen and you give him a goofy grin.

“Deku.”

“You like those stupid kind, huh? I see you've lowered your level since me.”

“Shut up, Midoriya's the sweetest. A gentleman, too. I probably lowered my standards when we became a couple.”

One fun thing about being friends with him were his egotistical comparison between him and the boys you flirted with.

You just loved the friendly banter and the way you two slid over your past relationship like it's nothing.

You and Bakugou had hung out more and grown closer after the breakup and you're just loving it.

He even offered you a list of “boys who are not better than me but are better than that deku shit” after the relationship with Midoriya doesn't work out.

Hanging out with him was much more fun than before, too!

Since the two of you had dated in the past, you both know the limits to each others comfort.

Bakugou knows he'd have to stretch his feet across the table when you wore heels so that you could remove your high heels and relax your own feet on top of his sneakers.

You know his favorite type of spicy food that when you and his friends eat out and he's gone for the bathroom for a while, you could just order what you knew he would want.

No need for the shy talk.

These actions raises some eyebrows but the two of you brush it off with a joke or an amused grin.

But, while you two are comfortable with each other, you find out stuff about him you never knew.

It's felt more chill to be with him and learn more about him and his interests.

Small talk with your ex slash best friend Bakugou is the best cause he always had opinions on everything. He's rage-filled after all lol.

You'd try to set him up, too. With the Bakusquad's help.

But, after, the third date, everyone had agreed he'll find someone on his own or die old and alone in the future.

Maybe Bakugou's not meant for relationships, you think.

You're wrong.

Bakugou's still got his eyes on you.

And, he's gonna have yours on him once he graduates and floors Deku down the Hero Rankings.

Announcement: MHA K-12 Series (Part 1/2)

First of all I want to thank everyone who sent in requests that helped me during the planning process of this. I’d also like to thank people for the patience they have shown. I hope that by the end of this month the whole series will be out for your viewing pleasure. My followers have all been so supportive during a really difficult time and I hope you guys enjoy something that has really inspired me.

Bellow the cut are the imagines which are all based on songs from Melanie Martinez’s sophomore album K-12 and My Hero Academia characters. There are thirteen imagines in total and will be released in the order of the album. Let me know which ones you’re most interested or excited for in the notes. 

General Warning: K-12 is an album that has serious and explicit subject matter, therefore I have also used several things that can be considered triggering in the imagines you’ll see below. Such as depictions of violence, sex, strong language, and other mature content. There will be more specific warnings with each imagine but be advised- they probably will all be rated 18+

Pairing: Dabi x Reader

Synopsis: The one thing he might hate most about society was how no one noticed anything- even the sounds of muffled whimpers on a crowded bus.

A/N: This was my fancy was of saying Dabi fingers you on a bus. This was probably the best place to start off this entire series because the concept is pretty basic, but also the song fits the easiest with the subject matter and lyrics. It’s partially inspired by that scene where Shigaraki and Midoriya meet at the mall and he points out how no one notices because of society, and thought the song’s message of neglectful authority fit so well with Dabi’s character.

Pairing: Midoriya x Reader; Bakugo x Reader (minor)

Synopsis: He grew tried of how the other boy got everything he wanted, he even took her. Now all he wants is to beat his face into the pavement.

A/N: This one was recommended in my inbox and it was genius, I cannot believe I hadn’t considered it. At first I thought it would be Reader vs Uraraka/Melissa/Toga but then I realized how much better it would be to swap the gender roles. The song is originally from Crybaby’s perspective, so the fic is going to be following Midoriya’s perspective. The imagine is mainly focused on Midoriya, with Bakugo being more of an antagonist.

Pairing: Endeavor x Reader

Synopsis: Sometimes she wondered if he really thought this would help his family or if he even cared enough to pretend like he gave it any thought.

A/N: I know Endeavor is a controversial character and I have never actually really written for him before, but I want to make it clear that this isn’t going to be about romanticizing him nor his actions. But if you listen to the song it’s about an authority figure who thinks they always know better and instead hurt everyone around them. That literally describes Endeavor. This fic is basically Endeavor gets divorced from Rei and replaces her with the Reader, and how she navigates this new role and some Todoroki family drama.

Pairing: Hawks x Reader

Synopsis: He was an icarus to the sun that was the commission and public that consumed him. And he selfishly wanted someone to drown with him.

A/N: I love angst and I love Hawks, so I decided that the best way to do this very popular request and be accurate to the meaning of the song was my interpretation of being in a relationship with someone whose high profile. So think a more tame Fifty Shades of Grey or a more superhero A Star Is Born. The reader is someone who Hawks both wants to get closer from and push away for the same exact reason. So enjoy the hurt feelings.

Pairing: Bakugo x Reader

Synopsis: Another excuse, another handful of blood stained petals. It’s better this way when he didn’t know, she couldn’t survive a verbal rejection.

A/N: I want to actually give credit to the person who suggested this idea, @technolilly​, who suggested that the reader being suffering from the hanahaki disease. I loved this idea so much. When trying to pick a character to go along with the idea of unrequited love I was stumped between Todoroki and Bakugo. The latter won for a few reasons, but primarily because I wanted to explore the slow burn relationship development between Bakugo and the reader.

Pairing: Shigaraki x Reader

Synopsis: The heartbreaking truth that there was no justice or morality to found in society. An all consuming truth until all all that mattered was him.

A/N: This song is all about society and the roles we are forced into, which fits well with anti establishment characters. So who better than the current King? Also a part of my “Tomura deserves love and happiness” collection where I believe he’s suffered so much in canon that I shouldn’t put him through more angst. The reader’s backstory is a mix of Claire Bennett from Heroes, Candace from You on Netflix, and The Female/Kimiko from The Boys. You two are like if the Joker and Harley Quinn weren’t abusive, or terrorist Gomez and Morticia. 

Pairing: Kaminari x Reader; Shinso x Reader

Synopsis: She never really cared about what she dressed like or what the boys thought of her. Now it consumed almost every thought she had. 

A/N: One of the hardest to make a concept for before someone suggested Kaminari due to the themes of objectifying women. I added in Shinso because I didn’t have a proper love triangle yet. The idea behind this one is that the reader is into Kaminari who is too busy paying superficial compliments and attention to the other girls, and the affect this has on girls in terms of self worth but also behavior (see Kat from Euphoria for reference). I added Shinso the flesh out the story as her emotional support who pines after her.
