ICE is in Los Angeles conducting raids and arresting families and children on their way to their court dates and raiding workplaces. Trump has called the National Guard in to stop protestors and is spreading a false narrative about violence, raiding, etc. to distract from the fact that ICE is abducting children in a SANCTUARY CITY.

Do not look away, do not be silent. If you or a loved one is detained by ICE, stay silent except to ask for your lawyer. Keep your documents on you. Call legal aid foundations who are standing by.

Okay let's talk about whether Israel should be allowed to participate in eurovison or not.

Not to do a whataboutism, however what's the line between acceptable badness and unacceptable badness? Because Israel isn't the only country who participates in eurovison who has done bad things.

Azerbaijan did ethnic cleansing in September 2023 and there were no mass calls for them to withdraw from eurovision 2024. That included people dying en masse as it's ethnic cleansing. Should they also withdraw? Or is it fine because their crimes don't get media attention?

What about the 2020 Barda missile attacks, done by Armenia which has been condemned by multiple countries? Should Armenia be forced to withdraw?

How about Australia? In the 2020 Brereton report, it found that in Afghanistan, the Australian special forces did 39 unlawful killings, including a practice they dubbed "blooding" where junior soliders got their first kill by shooting prisoners. Is it fine now because it's been some time or should they still be held accountable and withdraw from eurovision?

Branimir Glavaš was convicted of war crimes yet was in office until 2015 in Croatia. Should they have been forced to not participate in eurovision until 2016?

The Netherlands first debuted at eurovison in 1956. In 1999 they did the Niš cluster bombing. Should they have been banned from the following year's eurovison because of it?

In 2021 France carried out an airstrike on a wedding that 3 terrorists were attending. They also killed 19 civilians, the mali wedding airstrike as its called. Should France be forced to withdraw from eurovison. I mean they're also part of the big 5 too, does that make it any better or worse?

Greece debuted in eurovison, the same year they committed multiple war crimes against Turkish Cypriots. Should their participation have ended then and there?

Serbia literally did the Bosnian genocide yet participated as part of Yugoslavia the same year the genocide started and years since then. Before being banned due to EU sanctions but returning as Serbia. Should they have been forced to withdraw?

And that isn't even a complete list.

Where is the line drawn? Why is it okay for those countries to participate but not Israel? And don't say "but Palestine" as I have already very clearly set out examples of other war crimes of varying degrees. Tell me exactly how it's different with Israel?

The reason why Russia isn't on this list, is because they were disqualified not for war crimes, but because of lack of free speech. Their broadcaster had no free speech so was suspended from EBU membership meaning that they could no longer participate in eurovison.

So please, where is the line? What makes Israel different besides it being the only jewish country?

Narcovember Prompt Roulette List

Saalud a mi gente! We in the Narcos Fandom Forever discord server are excited to bring another 30-day challenge: a multifandom event that we’re nevertheless calling Narcovember. Despite its name, this is open to ALL FANDOMS, NOT JUST NARCOS. Creators are encouraged to submit fanworks (fic, art, gifs, vids, op-eds) for any fandom your heart desires!

This event's format is a bit unconventional. Instead of a prompt for each day of the month, there's a Prompt Roulette Wheel and a Prompt Index (☟ below) featuring numbered items with three prompts each. Every day you'll spin the wheel. The number that comes up on the spin corresponds to a number on the index where you can then pick one of the three prompts.

So for example, say on day one, I spin the wheel and get number 8. I’d go to 8 on the index (titled These Damn Restraints). Of those three prompts, I like Yikes best so that's my day one prompt. Next day, I spin and get 14. I find 14 on the index (Decisions, Decisions, Decisions) and pick one of those for day two's prompt. And so on. Note: If, on Day 2, instead of 14 I got 8 again, I’d spin the wheel again to get a new number. If, for whatever reason, you don’t want to spin twice, you can choose another prompt from that "Book of" that you haven't used (e.g. Day 1, I chose Yikes. So Day 2, I’d go for, "Now you know why I never say anything.") Ideally, we think it’s more fun to not repeat index items, but ultimately it’s dealer’s choice. Aka we're not about to get real fascist policing, aint nobody got time for that.

Hello, yes, I'm alive. Surprise surprise, life has managed to get even more hectic. On the plus side, chapter 13 is like 75% done since I ended up moving the last couple of pages of this chapter to chapter 13 or else this would've become unbearably long.

The task is much too menial to be able to distract you from the thoughts regarding this…new information you’ve received. You’ve never been a good decision maker.
