Hey yall bc I've been keeping an eye on this the Itch.Io bundle for the PCRF is now live

they had an issue last week with itch.io so they had to postpone opening for a few days but for those who wanted to d/ona/te it's here!

I'm really glad the anime kept this in. I was worried they might not. This is the turning point for I'm in Love with the Villainess, where it becomes clear it's not just a silly isekai comedy, but a story that also earnestly discusses queer issues.

It's still fairly unusual for the kind of yuri that gets adapted to anime to outright have characters say "I'm gay", so the fact Rae frankly discusses her sexuality here is refreshing-- but on top of that, the show goes on to directly challenge homophobia.

Rae's behavior with Claire before this has been inappropriate (and they really should have toned it down in adaptations to make this convo work better, but alas) and that is acknowledged here. However, Claire moving away from Rae specifically because Rae states that she's gay is what's pointed out wrong, and the stereotype of "lesbians just can't control themselves and will creep on every woman they meet" is pointed out as wrong. This is a common stereotype that persists pretty much everywhere--the idea that it isn't "safe" for women to be around lesbians--and it is valuable that it's called out here. Gay people aren't more likely to be predatory that straight people, and that's something everyone should get through their heads.

What's more, the idea of "oh she's not gay or bi she just happened to fall in love with a woman" or "it's just a love that transcends gender" isn't a super common stereotype in the US and a lot of other countries, but it is one that pops up constantly in anime and manga, because it's seen as somehow "more okay" for a character to kiss girls if she goes out of her way to say it doesn't make her a lesbian or bi/pan. (In the novel Rae does internally mention that bisexual people exist, btw, but she's just not one of them).

So Rae bluntly saying "no gender does matter to me. I'm a lesbian. I'm only attracted to women" is refreshing. "Oh she just fell in love with that one special girl, no reflection on her sexuality whatsoever" being called out as it's own form of prejudice is a pretty big deal.

It's nearly completed actually! Will probably go up later this month on my main channel (with no monetization enabled obviously). I've been mostly quiet about it because I thought it'd make for a fun surprise!

It was started by Chrissy, I just helped out with moderation and editing of everything together.

It's been in development since around Friendlocke Season 2 so it mainly focuses on Season 1 and 2, but it's so insanely crazy good I think people will love the work everyone who contributed put in!

RTVS Palestine Fundraiser, April 12th-14th

This weekend, Radio TV Solutions will be holding a 3 day marathon fundraiser event for the people of Palestine.

All weekend long, we will be streaming a variety of games and events in an effort to raise money for on-the-ground aid groups and direct Palestinian support campaigns.

The event will not be a traditional stream fundraiser, rather than pointing people at one donation point, we will be suggesting many different support recipients, and you may donate to any of them. You can then submit your donation amount to be tallied into our rough total.

The information document detailing suggested groups/campaigns to support will open up closer to when the event starts, as well as a schedule of events for the weekend. The event will be hosted on my twitch channel, where http://stream.rtvsfundraiser.live/ links to.

Lastly, if you know of any GoFundMe's or similar site campaigns for Palestinians that you trust as legitimate, please send an e-mail to info@rtvsfundraiser.live with links and details, and I will add as many as I can to the event document.

That's up to Marcie (Nezumi) as it's her stream! It was one of my fav streaming experiences recently, and I've had quite a few great ones. Really loved hanging out with Marcie and Austin. Even if it stays as just a VOD I think it's a DAMN good stream!

Hi mr salty sir! Ok so I wanted to ask you something, i’ve been wanting to play Ghost Trick since I heard you played it, and it looked really interesting. I wanted to know before I bought it though, should I play the steam port or purchase it for the ds? Thank you!

Both are virtually identical and play the exactly the same so either would be a good pick. Depends on if you want the portability or not!

It IS worth mentioning that the PC version has music options (you can use the original DS score or the redone HD music tracks), and it also includes unlockable extras like Concept Art and slide puzzles. So if that extra stuff means anything to you, it's in the PC remaster!

IMHO tho, you should grab whatever is cheapest/most accessible! Just be sure NOT to google anything about the game until you're done with it to avoid plot spoilers (unless you need to look up a guide to a specific puzzle!)
