a Tip i have for figuring out a kintype (or any label really) is just. Trying it out! if you’re questioning being a lion therian, refer to yourself as one and see how it feels! spend time in that space! if it doesn’t feel right, you can just stop calling yourself that. trial and error babey

So, we decided to make a holothere flag that would be aesthetically pleasing for us. Color meaning:

Sea green (background): all-encompasing nature of the holothere identity

Grayish green: those who "just are" holothere

Grayish blue: those who are physically nonhuman due to disorders

Dark purple: those whose holothere identity is somewhat spiritual

Licorice/off-black: the unknown vastness of possible holothere experiences

Dark red: those who struggle with their physical nonhumanity

Blood red: putting an emphasis on experience of nonhumanity as something also physical

Orange: those who find joy in their physical nonhumanity

TUMBLR STOP FLOODING MY FOR YOU PAGE WITH PRO EATING DISORDER CONTENT PLEASE? I am actually going to write an email to staff about this, it's ridiculous. I've never once interacted with that side of tumblr and the algorithm is PUSHING this content HARD on me. I will get 3 or more of these posts in a ROW.

Luckily this content does not trigger dangerous behaviour in ME specifically, but it is extremely troubling that tumblr is pushing blogs that encourage life-threatening behaviour on members of the therian community, which is composed largely of mentally ill and/or neurodivergent minors. Do better tumblr :/

(to clarify this isn't just recovery diaries or anything. the algorithm is pushing me blogs with very disturbing pro-eating disorder messaging. Including one blog which ACTIVELY ENCOURAGED "YOUNG TEENAGERS" TO REACH OUT FOR ED "ADVICE")

I was definitely a mule deer in my previous life. The difference between being a solitary animal and a herd animal is VERY noticable. I look at other salties and feel respect and appreciation for their beauty and power, but with deer and especially mule deer it's like FRIEND NEW FRIEND HI HELLO I LOVE YOU WE'RE FAMILY NOW
