sometimes I'll see someone express an opinion that's like, "anyone else sick of the colour blue. I mean it was fun at first but it's like, we get it, you like blue. I know this is an old idea but as both a transmaac and dogboy I need to contribute my rendition of "lycanthropy as a metaphor for transgenderism":

So it's one of those buddy comedies, with similar prose to a road trip story or a coming-of-age comedy. Guy orders an experimental form of masculinizing HRT off the deep web in hopes of more rapid results. The formula has some unintended consequences as the guy turns into an actual beast, wolfman-style. His best friend's freaking out about it but the actual werewolves kinda chill with these changes. Problem is that the authorities caught wind of the new werewolf sightings and plan to take him down.

So now wolfman and his pal get into shenanigans, perhaps meet other monster folks, and maybe unravel some government plots and save the world?
