the pilot is so insane dean was literally not going to drop sam back off at stanford even though he said at the beginning of the episode he had to be back. he was literally just going to keep driving.

i actually enjoy the dynamic in late seasons because it’s so severely imbalanced and fucked up and horrifying but like. when people (when dean stans) say they like late seasons dean better because he’s like. softer or whatever. i literally cannot even imagine what it’s like to be that delusional.

chuck telling lucifer “the mark didn’t change you, it made you more of what you already were” in the same room as sam and dean where dean is mere minutes away from saying “i lie and tell sam i’m sorry all the time” which, if you’ve forgotten, comes immediately on the heels of sam having to say “lucifer is right.” there are a lot of scenes that are really scenes (honorific) but this scene is one of the most scenes (derogatory) of all time
