Ihr Lieben! Es dauert länger als erwartet Fuß zu fassen hier in Deutschland. Die Autismus Diagnose meiner Tochter nimmt viel Zeit in Anspruch. Wir sind viel unterwegs von Ärzten zu Therapeuten und Psychiatern in der Hoffnung die Hilfe zu finden, die sie braucht. Der Job macht Spaß und es ist auch nur eine halbe Stelle, aber es ist doch anspruchsvoller sich einzuarbeiten als ich am Anfang dachte. Wenn ich dann nach Hause komme, zwischen all den Terminen für meine Tochter, fehlt mir meist die Energie mir Ideen für den Kanal und den Shop auszudenken. Ich wollte mich nur melden und sagen, dass ich täglich an Euch denke und hoffe, dass ich bald wenigstens ein kurzes Update Video filmen kann. Getting settled in Germany is taking longer than I expected. My daughter's autism diagnosis is taking up a lot of time, we are running from one place to another looking to get help to support her. Work is fun and it's only a part time job, but it is more demanding than I thought to learn all the ins and outs and I often have no energy left afterwards, between all the appointments for my daughter, to come up with new ideas for my channel and shop. I will let you know when there is something new and I might be able to film a sit down video soon to give you an update... Do you recognise this bed set/ blankie? It is my daughter's cuddle blankie and, as you can see in the bottom left corner, it is sadly slowly falling apart. It is around 40 years old now. My mum and dad received this bed set as a wedding present back in 1980 and when my daughter had one of her surgeries (she was born 3 months early and sadly had a few health issues) as a 4 month old, my mum gave it to me as a cuddle blanket to protect and comfort my Mimi (daughter). Mimi is now 14 years old and was diagnosed with Asperger's (ASD level 2). She has a hard time dealing with change. The thought of losing her beloved blankie is giving her severe anxiety. A few years ago I went on a big internet search trying to search for a replacement, but sadly I could not find anything. We are hoping for a miracle. Maybe someone recognises this bed set and still has one in the attic, basement or closet somewhere. On the buttons it says KBC. I think I'll have to make a few more, one for each of the dolls in our house, at least ;) And then I'll have to put a human sized backpack on the to-do list as well. Schnitt des Monats August 2018 Der Schnitt dieses Monats ist ein Rucksack, der Puppen wie American Girl, Our Generation, Götz und Ikuzi passt. Ich muss wahrscheinlich noch ein paar mehr nähen, damit alle Puppen in unserem Haus ihren eigenen Rucksack haben und vielleicht muss auch ein Rucksack in 'Menschengröße' auf meine To-do Liste :) Der Schnitt wird für die ersten beiden Tage des Monats gratis erhältlich sein.
