i’m not going to argue with anyone who tries to tell me chad gable and el grande aren’t the same person. genuinely, the gimmick sucks. the gimmick is awful. you have a man who isn’t respecting the art of lucha go out and try to take the masks off of actual luchadors. you don’t just try and remove the lucha masks! it’s insane to me that people will look at someone who’s supposed to be a luchador go out and actively disrespect it and they’ll still defend it! “at least chad’s getting the shots he deserves” “i’d rather have el grande over jackasses” “most people like el grande” wouldn’t you rather chad get those shots as himself? wouldn’t you want chad to get a belt as himself and not some cosplay? what happened to american made? what happened to him leading his faction? i liked and respected chad a hell of a lot more before this stupid shit gimmick because at least american made was in some sort of storyline! please for the love of god kill the gimmick. it’s not fun. it’s not funny. chad is a good wrestler and should be getting shots and opportunities as himself. not some character he’s created
