I remember seeing somewhere that someone was mad that people thought of cuphead when they saw Mr Ring a Ding, and tbh that feels stupid. God forbid someone think of another thing they're familiar with when they see something new 😭 ( and as someone who has played cuphead: he would absolutely fit right in! and tbh I think he'd be friends with Sally Stage-Play and maybe Hilda Berg. Tbh tho cuphead wasn't my first thought, if anything it was Bendy. Which honestly tracks knowing me, a very big bendy fan. )

In all complete honesty I do agree with this, however for vampires I feel that can work if the reason why they're being discriminated against isn't because they're killing people for fun. That's rather asinine I think and it sounds like "oh these people hate these people in power because they're killing them! Dont you feel bad for the powerful people now??" And its like.. ew no tf...

What I would do, however, is not make it a racism thing and more like how humans dont have ways to help Vampires, since they need blood to survive and humans are like "errr no.. we need to live too, so you're just gonna have to die, sorryy" So to solve this is to set up blood donations that humans can donate some of their blood to vampires who need it to live.

I feel like in a case where a vampire has killed a person would either be due to an extreme case of "oh god i need blood now or im going to die", or they were carrying a disease. If it was neither then that vampire was being a dickhead.

Sorry if this sounds mean in anyway!! I just wanted to share my perspective on this because vampires ( or parasitic monsters in general ) are something I'm very passionate about for some reason.

the reason "robot racism" is often a really stupid metaphor is the same reason that like. discrimination against demons or vampires or whatever doesn't work, is because there's often a pretty justified reasons humans are scared of vampires or robots or whatever, in a way that doesn't apply to real life minorities, like a fantasy author will be like "the reason vampires are discriminated against is because most of them and kill and eat people for fun and pleasure, and so humans respond by trying to kill them, isn't that so sad" and like no that's a perfectly fine reason to not trust vampires i think.
