Please don't feel sorry for calling them out. When someone confronted them about calling people out they said it's because they wouldn't listen to them in Dm so it's different. With the number of calling out and cancel thing they posted in the past.... I have questions. Also, a few months ago when they lost an argument so they also took a break. They do it so their anons get mad for not having content and doesn't look last their actions.

when this has gone on for years, it’s a problem. if we want to broaden the conversation of sexualization high schoolers then I definitely have a couple of other blogs I could call out,, but quite frankly they’re not active anymore and why would I call out behavior of someone who isn’t there? if I see active blogs doing that I’m not afraid to do so again in the future.

this is just my burner account. i post on here from time to time and it’s not connected to any of my real accounts. but I’m gonna be straight up, when you have a big platform, you have responsibilities. last night I was having a conversation with another author AO3 author who has a big fic about the responsibilities we have to handle highschool characters in a certain way because I got a request for a hs hc last night. I think she’s really good with dictating to her anons what she should and should t allow, and she gave me a really good point of view. Then this morning one of my anons actually sent me a ss of bunnie’s response and it got me very angry. There needs to be a certain level of responsibility upheld if you want to write, and if you can’t handle that and have to try and find excuses while ignoring the larger issue at stake then it’s clear even you’re not 100% convinced about yourself.

Now that I’ve calmed down should I have done things the way I have? Maybe not. Should I maybe have worded some things as not as confrontational? Yes. Do I regret it? Not one bit. Because once we start to go past the “oh my god!! my fav is being attacked!!!” and look at how problematic it is for not only Bunnie to have a big platform on here and be a figurehead that holds a fair amount of soft power in this little ecosphere,, but that if you allow that then you give a green light to all the little blogs under them that see this as A. a way to justify writing these topics and what I consider more important B. That it’s okay. Because it’s not. And for someone like Bunnie who I’ve seen go hunting down for minors and make posts like that, to still turn around and participate in a system that is inevitably only harm and victimizing minors is hypocritical.

You can be mad at me all you want. But please just sit and think about what it all is for a minute : what business does a grown adult have writing high schoolers (and you can try to spin it that they’re adults) in very graphic sex scenes? There really is none. and if you do have one I would be very open to hearing it :)

I really don’t want a thank you,, I just want this to spark a larger conversation about responsibilities as writers and more importantly as adults. it isn’t just their blog, it’s a lot of blogs that have various “tutor” or something along those lines with teenage protagonist wether the author says they’re ‘of age’ which is in like the last quater of senior year, it filters into this bigger issue of adults sexualizing highschool. the sexualization of teenagers by adults isn’t just on here, it’s in movie, tv, anime, porn. if I’m going to get a bunch of petty insults thats okay because if we can start sparking a conversation as a community about holding eachother accountable then I’m okay with it.
