To be honest, I don't know the first thing about how Tarot card reading works… but they seem like the kind of character that could be a reader. I looked up the Tarot deck and drew the symbols I thought would be the most interesting, but honestly I have no idea what I've suggested at all lol

I absolutely loved Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom, so I looked forward to TUFF Puppy with anticipation. While I did give it a good shot (I saw the whole 1st season) I just thought it was okay. Which is at least more than I can say than Butch's last show, Bunson is a Beast. And the man himself... oy. 😮‍💨

I've been an Animaniacs fan since my teens, but it wasn't until my wife @mitchekie suggested we visit Tiny Toons that I became familiar with Fifi. While I did find it entertaining, IMO it doesn't hold up as well as Animaniacs. I Still need to check out Looniversity though.

My second game console was the PS1, and because we weren't very well off, my parents got one used. Eventually it started having laser problems, and games would freeze sometimes due to read issues. Usually, taking the disc out and putting it back in would fix the problem. On one fateful night, I was playing Crash Bash and it froze on me. However, in the process of taking the disc out and putting it back in again to "fix it", one of the metal ball bearings that keeps discs in place fell out and got lost in the carpet. The console stopped working completely after that point. I knew how little money we had and I felt at the time that it was my fault it stopped working. I had a good like hour long cry after that. It was a few months until we had another console - the N64 - which also died on us in like a year lol.

It's Amy, the yodelin' Cowgirl 🎶

It's another Amy Rose! I learned how to draw by drawing Sonic characters, so when I don't have any specific direction I tend to default to them. Amy has been a popular choice for me - I do like Amy's character design - but she's also a female character, and a lot of my art lately has been to push me to get better at female anatomy.

Sonic Forces: Speed Battle recently announced a skin for Shadow as a Cowboy outlaw, so that's partially where the inspiration for the piece struck from. The background is directly inspired by the canceled Dust Hill / Sand Shower zone of Sonic 2.

This was me stretching my abilities a little bit to try something I found difficult - holding objects, and getting them oriented correctly in the hands. Also, my leg placement is a little off. Still, we only learn by trying, and maybe despite the flaws I see in this, someone out there might still enjoy it?

In college, we would do movie nights in my dorm. My first chance I got, I showed them Paranorman, and they really liked it. Second swing at it, I showed them Cat's Don't Dance…. they all walked away from it in the first 30 minutes. Can't say I didn't try. 😝

An unexpectedly rainy day in Animal Forest... 🐶🌲

While I've grown up with Animal Crossing since the first US release, New Leaf came at a unique time in my life. With an injury keeping me from attending college classes, I poured more into it than probably any game since. In that way, Isabelle represents a time for me that is bittersweet, hence the juxtaposition of a pretty spring dress and a rainy afternoon.

As a kid, I grew up liking Digimon more than Pokemon, especially with Season 3 being very serialized. I've always loved Terriermon, but I think Renamon has the more iconic look. Plus, I wanted to practice more anatomy. 😅

Lola Bunny. Working on my anatomy and perspective! 🐇🏀 I'm looking for characters that are somewhat familiar to how I know how to draw, but still have elements that challenge me to try and learn new things and get better. I don't necessarily think the perspective aspect turned out quite right but it made for an extra challenge!

After my first recent Amy Rose piece, I was somewhat unhappy that I was struggling with the anatomy. I did this piece after some quick studies. I do sorta wish after the fact that I had chosen a better angle, but I'm at least proud it seems to be an improvement 😛

Original cat character by @camcato.bsky.social ! Saw this character marked as a Do This In Your Style while digging through the Furry tag on BlueSky. The design seemed like something I could handle so I gave it a go! It also helped me a little on my anatomy. I've never really worried that much about it as I often would draw overly cartoony characters. But now there's more sophisticated posing and scenarios I want to draw so I've got to push myself.

My wife & I recently moved to an apartment in a new state! We intended to only be in it for a month or two & move into a house shortly after, but due to the job market, It's been more than 2 months now. At least it's given me time to draw, but the waiting's been frustrating at times.
