For the 150th annual Gathering of the Rangers, Crowley had decided to host a fortnight-long game of hide and seek. the rules were simple: All the Rangers and their apprentices would hide in the woods of Araulen Fief's woods. Weapons were allowed, but they couldn't harm anyone. They were allowed to shoot anyone in full armor with special, blunt-tipped armor denting arrows. King Duncan released his 100 best trackers to find the Rangers. Most of the trackers were from Araulen's game wardens. They were given armor and told that they'd be released an hour after the Rangers were. When the time came to start the game, the Rangers scattered, some climbing trees and others going to ground in natural gullies and trenches. Then the trackers came. Armed with paint bombs that were shot from slings, they hunted the Rangers. For two weeks, the woods of Araulen Fief were filled with the scent of roasting coffee and the clanging of arrows on armor. When the game ended, each chest plate was dented at least three times. The Ranger's cloaks had no paint. To this day, the tale of this legendary game is told in the inns and taverns of Araulen.
