I cannot put into words how much finally meeting Carrie meant to me, to be able to say thank you to her for her videos and to see her in her dream role was incredible. Her videos always seem to come at the right time, letting me know it’s okay now to be okay, that I shouldn't give up on my childhood dreams simply because I dreamt them up as a child and even yesterday when I was out of mind stressed about work and planning she brings out a video on coping with stress. I could not admire someone more and finally meeting her was amazing.

Say what you like about Taylor Swift - and, yes, we have a lot to say - she knows what works in her off-duty wardrobe. In her downtime her go-to look is more girl-next-door than international pop starlet, ultra-feminine and polished with the occasional grungy piece thrown in for good measure - but she never looks scruffy. Super short shorts, cropped tops and flippy dresses are her staples, more often than not paired with a great pair of ankle boots and a ladlike bag. She has a knack for looking great but reassuringly normal. And isn’t that why we like her?
