ANTI-shippers??!?!! Seriously? 😂

So I’m just now finding out that there is actually such a thing as ANTI shippers. This is beyond pitiful. Guys, it’s as if people have run out of ways to bully others and are making up new ways, despite how pathetic their attempts may be. How bored do you have to be in life to be an “anti shipper”? Honestly. I thought that’s what NOTP’s were for? Is it not enough to simply not ship Ereri or not ship Otayuri or whatever other pairings people like to trip balls over? It’s not contributing anything to society. Really it’s not. People who ship Fictional ANIMATED characters are not endorsing anything irl. In fact we join fandoms and get to know each other to escape real life cuz quite frankly it’s boring half the time and just flat out depressing the other half of the time. I’m just confused as to why people feel the need to seek out negativity. I haven’t seen Killing Stalking (I think that’s what it’s called?). Hell it might not even be an anime. It might be a manga. I don’t friggin know. But “Antis” (isn’t it cute how they give themselves a name?) fuss at people who ship the characters in that because for some reason they assume people who ship these fictional characters (with NO IMPACT on real life people) are cool with this shit in real life. By that logic authors who write about murderers and rapists would be considered awful people. But guess what. Most people don’t see things that way because there’s such a thing as growing a pair and dealing with things that make you uncomfortable. The only pairing out of the ones I’ve mentioned that I actually ship is Otayuri, but do I have a problem with Ereri? No not at all. It would be stupid to. Ridiculous actually because at the end of the day it’s fiction. So fellow shippers, please don’t let the Anti’s (lol so cute) get you down. I think it’s the second time I’m saying hello. As I announced last time, today is the season’s end! As the season ended, I finished my college graduation ceremony (yuhu~)

I wanted to finish Season 2 immediately without a break, but I’m really sorry I did not. I am sorry to have caused you so much trouble preparing for Season 1 and I am sorry to have caused unreasonableness to the uploading team again… Something seems to have been a series of hardships and apologies.

Disclaimer: Don’t kill the messenger (that’s all I am in this post) , these are just what I took from the complaints,disagreements, and other comments here and there that i’ve seen in the tags and in post comments..to some extent I have exaggerated them..to some extent. Rule 2). Don’t discuss the differences between reality and fiction. That’s such a shit excuse like don’t you fucking dare! Because we all know that after reading this shit manhwa you’ll become like sangwoo (picks up phone to dial police cause they need to arrest y’all asses ASAP)

Rule 10.5). Whatever do you mean about there being an anti ks and discourse tag? Rule 1992). Bum’s Uncle > Sangwoo because at least his uncle didn’t sexually assault him (Messenger note : I have actually seen someone comment that bum’s uncle is greater than sangwoo..I am not exaggerating)

Rule 1980s). Don’t imply that Sangwoo is to be any kind of daddy, dad as fuck, pappy, papa, tu papa, or la casa. It gives off the vibe that you too want your legs broken and that you think him as your biological father, it will not be seen as a joke so just stop

Theory/hypothesis:

Yoon Bum does not know that he has b orderline p ersonality disorder. (Putting spaces there to try to not clutter the search results for that tag.)

I’ve mentioned this guess before, but not in its own post, and I’ve never really expanded on it much, so here’s my attempt.

Very, very early on in the comic, just after we’re introduced to the fact that Bum has been cyberstalking Sangwoo and has been attempting to break into his house for months, we’re presented with this:

Three words floating ominously, outside of any panel, in a faded grey font that we never see again, attributed to no one. And then the disorder (as of ch16) is never mentioned again.

I can’t claim to know this firsthand, but what I’ve read from other bloggers who know better than I do is that there is still a huge stigma in SK when it comes to mental illness – that it’s seen as a sort of personal failing, and not a real illness. (So, really, not much worse than the U.S. is doing regarding mental health, if we’re being honest!) Then we have the fact that Bum likely grew up in less than ideal conditions, with abusive family members, and probably with chronic financial insecurity – when would he have ever sought help? Likely never.

I think it’s obvious that he senses he’s unwell in some way – even before we know we have this disorder, we understand on some level that behaviors like stalking are bad and objectively wrong, even if we’re able to justify it in our minds. (And “love” is a powerful, powerful justification for us.) But as far as knowing what is wrong with him, I don’t think he has a clue. There’s no indication anywhere in the comic that he knows he has this disorder.

So, what does this mean? And why has Koogi never mentioned the disorder again in the comic? The author not mentioning it again, I’ve found, has actually led a lot of people (mostly neurotypical/mentally healthy people) to forget that Bum has this disorder, and/or to not think it’s important enough to take the time to learn about the disorder. Because if you know about the disorder and what to look for, all of Bum’s actions make complete sense. But if you don’t – his thoughts, dialogue, and actions all just look like a confusing mess. So why hasn’t there been a reminder?

As I’ve been interacting with people in this fandom, and talking about this disorder based on my own experiences with it, I’ve been wondering why Koogi wouldn’t mention it again, or if she even knows that people are forgetting about it and becoming confused by Bum as a character. But it’s possible she’s done it this way on purpose. If Bum doesn’t know he has B P D, then his own feelings and thoughts are going to be just as confusing to him as they are to readers who’ve forgotten that he’s sick.

I can’t say for sure if that’s why Koogi made the choice to never mention it again (and it’s possible that she simply overestimated people’s memories for this kind of thing!), but it’s interesting if it’s intentional. It’s interesting either way, really.

I also can’t really expand on what Bum’s not knowing means for the story…. That’s something we’ll have to wait and see about. But if you’ve found yourself consistently confused by Bum and not sure what’s going on in his head – my main point here is that he’s probably just as confused as you are, because I don’t think he knows that he has B P D.

My idea of Killing Stalking (spoilers)

Ok, first of love yes i love this manga but i don’t ship sangwoo and bum. I know this relationship is not healthy, please don’t put all the fans in the same category.

I love the drawings and the way the author highlights the characters’ expressions throught the story. I really felt fear, i even cried while reading a chapter (i don’t remember which one though).

Obviously Sangwoo is a serial killer with a serious mental problem, and i clearly wish he was in prison rn. But i don’t really understand why some people call Bum a creep. I mean, yeah he stalks Sangwoo, yeah he enters the apartment without permission, but still. If you read everything you know that he has serious problems, with his uncle who sexually abuses him for example. He never knew what love was and he was desperately looking for it in any way possible. He just needs love, he needs to be protected. I do agree he’s not totally sane mentally speaking, but he’s not a creep. He just needs help, he just needs someone who can be here for him. He’s kinda weak. But i really love Bum, i wish i could save him. I was so sad and broken when i read the manga for the first time… Poor boy. He’s treated like shit. Sexually abused by uncle, no friends, always alone, finally fall in love with a guy who’s a fucking killer who tortures him and hit him all day. You obviously have a serious trauma after that.

I just hope the author won’t end the manga at chapter 15 (which i didn’t read yet bc i didn’t find it), because i’m so curious to see what’s next. I want a happy ending, which means sangwoo in prison (or dead) and bum free again (who should then consult a professional to tell about his story). Like, SERIOUSLY, I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN BUM KILLED SANGWOO TO FINALLY REALIZE IT WAS JUST HIS IMAGINATION *sobs*

I’ll give this manga a 9/10. The emotions and atmosphere are here. The only problem - which is not serious at all - is the shape of the numeric pages. They are too long long with only 2 or 3 pictures on them. Also, i find some things incoherent: why isn’t anyone leaving in Sangwoo’s street? Why isn’t Bum’s uncle worried about him not showing up anymore? Why didn’t anyone actually worry about the girl we see in Sangwoo’s basement at the beginning? Come on don’t tell me she had no friends or family who didn’t notice her absence? If anything is said about it in the manga then i’m sorry (i still doubt it, i read it twice).

All i have to say now is go read the manga and stop being influenced by all the fans who think it’s yaoi. They are dumb and they do not represent all the ks fans. Also know that it’s only a manga, it’s not real. I mean, there are a lot of mangas where there is torture (i’m kind of ““used”“ to it now because of Kaneki’s uncensored torture scene which made me cry for 3 hours straight).

Anyway! Go read and make your own opinion instead of directly assume that fans thinks it’s romance just because a lot of people say so.
