a lil commentary on how the fic came to fruition ♡

i think it all started with this wooyoung? he just looked so soft and casual but just overall, normal. maybe because it was with this particular fit that they performed From, which is their pre-debut song that also made it nostalgic.

but definitely, after seeing this wooyoung in a red hoodie, i know that this look is one of my favorites.

i could say that this is the main reason that i wrote my fic.

this wooyoung looked so serene to me. and well, he's in a red hoodie which made it all kind of special.

now this.

this picture alone resonated domesticity to me. the familiarness of it and just overall, peace.

needless to say, looking at this woosan gives me peace.

somewhere in my head, i can see san as someone who would be really inclined to the arts. so in this particular fic, i made him a painter. someone who's very thoughtful and passionate with a hobby that became his profession.

so when i connected these every details in my head, i got to write this fic.

initial idea was san as a painter who had wooyoung as a muse; who paints the boy in the red hoodie in every one of his paintings. because he remembers wooyoung in a red hoodie on their trip to jeju, and the wooyoung that embodies the color red; fiery but passionate. i'd also like to think that san had already been in love with wooyoung for far too long, but was only late to realize. hence, it was only right and easy to say that he loves wooyoung.

woosan date in jeju; a real event that i based on.

domestic. one of the best words i could describe woosan, which is the another main reason i wrote this fic.

i almost made this fic titled home because of woosan being each other's safe space/comfort/the one who they will always come back to. something like the 'sometimes home is found in a person' thingy. but as red hoodie wooyoung is a major detail as to why this fic came to be, i settled with red hoodie.

this fic was supposed to be a one-shot. but as i wrote too many timeskips, i decided to make it chaptered just so it won't be too confusing to read t__t
