Remember how Ghost found a cache of Dragonglass weapons at the fist of the first men????? The Starks were given the direwolves for a REASON! A much more interesting storyline, however, it renders Dany useless to Jon. He’d choose his boy Ghost over Dany any day of the week, and that’s where they went so very wrong with his character. I know it could be he’s lost himself, and Ghost is an extension of himself, but come on. He loves Ghost. He’s so important to him. The only reason he didn’t bring Ghost with him to Dragonstone is because direwolves hate dragons, and Ghost is busy protecting Sansa. I’ll never forgive the disrespect towards Jon and Ghost. but what if i read one of your fanfics and then went to your ao3 accounts and read all of your fanfics and left a comment on every single chapter of every single one and you got spam emails from all of my kudos and comments and it made you smile, what then? what if i brighten your day with my words like you did mine, what then???

the whole 'nobody would miss me if i were gone' line of reasoning is so completely and mindblowingly false, it's almost laughable if you take a couple steps back. there's a lady at work who has been there for maybe two or three weeks and has only talked to me a handful of times, ask where the necklace i usually wear went. another person asked where i was cause i wasn't scheduled for about a week. i regularly think of friends who have deactivated their accounts or who i've lost contact with and what id tell them. i still think about people i haven't talked to for years even though i didn't know them well. people still think about you even if you're a passing specter on the street. and that's not even holding a candle to how much the people who are personally involved in your life care. people do notice and care. all the time. it might be hard to see it or remember it but people do care. ily.

Alysanne brings Silverwing to the Wall and tries three times to get the dragon to go north of it, and each time, the dragon refuses to go. Alysanne remarks that this is weird and troubling as Silverwing is never disobedient, but something about the barrier of the Wall freaks the dragon out.

like.. that dragon and his rider is NAWT going to be anywhere near the wall, ergo, the big reason for bs romance will not happen.. ergo..

I remember now when the episode came out, and people bringing up Alysanne and Silverwing. Dany couldn’t even keep Drogon from setting children ablaze…you’re telling me she can force him beyond the wall? Please.

I have not rewatched the episode, but from what I can recall…she didn’t even save the character they call Jon. Jon said nawwww, and then Benjen saved him. Thanks for saving the others, I guess.

The fact remains that none of them should have been there in the first place. Jon survived what happened at Hardhome. He knows what their enemy is capable of. He would not risk it. I understand he wants others to understand the danger they all face. Putting himself and others who actually believe him at risk is not the way. I also struggle to believe this is how George would have the wall breached. I understand things need to escalate in the story, but come on!!! The Night King has an unfathomable magic. Get more creative. But, right, we need sympathy for Dany. She lost her dragon. It’s “Jon’s fault”. Screw that noise.
