Meet Hilda! (Age 18, Post-B2W2) She is a legendary heroine and trainer, but is not so great at maintaining relationships. It might be the fact she left a Unova for over 2 years and didn’t return until after Neo Team Plasma was defeated (she claims she “retired” from the Hero of Truths title 🙄). Don’t let the harden heartbreaker look fool you, she’s actually quite outgoing and kind! (If you’re last name isn’t Harmonia)

Hail to the Queen! Lady Azureia is the ruler of Team Plasma and the Hero of Ideals. After her older brother N proved to be nothing but a disappointment, Azureia proved to worthy of the name “Harmonia Gropius” by single-handily defeating the Pokemon League and Champion Alder. She is close to accomplishing her lifelong dream of a world where Pokemon are no longer needlessly categorized by professors and foolish “type specialists” exist, Pokemon will finally become their own, fully autonomous beings that can live up to their full potential free of selfish humans! That failure N prefers to be a trainer and has betrayed her and their father Ghetsis by helping that meddling Hero of Truths…he will be disposed of soon enough.

(is it true that deep down she had feelings for Hilda, and does care for her older half-brother…?)

I met someone, a heroine

Azura realizing a little too late how much Hilda meant to her - she was basically her true hero, not Alder, not even N himself, that got to defeat Ghetsis and allowed Azura to be in full control of her life - before Hilda inevitably disappearing for two years…Natural returns, but not Hilda, and Azura holds out for the day that her Hero of Truths returns, all valiant on Reshiram and so stunning and so brave…

And just before we say goodbye, she takes me in her arms

…and then 2 years becomes 3 years…and then Hilda does return. But she’s done with being the Hero and wants nothing to do with the dragons and anyone with the last name “Harmonia”. Whatever Azura and Hilda were before, it’s not there anymore.

And then I wake up

Ok I Want You (She’s So Heavy) came on after I wrote this post and it’s like the universe telling me “yes gurl you write those teenage girlies whose relationship gets cut off by family meddling and big bro’s ego trip and never got to heal even after two years of separation do itttt” yes I will Lady Palutena

ngl I’m just going to plain drop Shelly being Azura’s ex-girlfriend. It just invokes comparisons between Shelly and Nessa that I’m tired of. Nessa’s not “Shelly 2.0”, they’re just both Black women who are both associated with water-types who play very different roles and I don’t buy that they’re related whatsoever. Also the decade age gap between a teenager that just became an adult and an adult woman entering her 30’s just rubs me the wrong way now. The relationship was a joke that purposely makes N uncomfortable to the point that he tells Azura Shelly’s too old for her, when that’s really something she should realize herself 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Now N having a damn near panic attack over hiding out that his suspicions of his little sister having the hots for his arc nemesis Hilda to be true is damn juicy 👌

🎂Happy Birthday Nessa!🎂

Today marks 6 years since Nessa was first revealed to the public back in 2019. I celebrate 6/11 as her (unofficial) birthday 🎉. I wanted to do something big for her on her special day so here’s her riding the biggest noodle ever 🪱✨. (Reminder that according to the Pokédex that Milotic is much larger than Kyorge lol)

My attempt at a Tate style Nessa in her rare league card dress (my favorite outfit of hers! ✨). Tate’s style eludes me the most out of any official Pokemon art style but I think I did a fine job 😅.
