Times where she laid across the bed with only the remnant thoughts of you, like stepping on broken pieces of glass you find weeks later, only to realize it doesn't hurt as much as it used to, as much as they told you it would... When she was, if only for a few moments, reminded of yesteryear's pain as if she had balled up dampened tears in the depths of her soul, only for the stench of a molded silver lining to arise and show its deeply seeded roots... If only in those moments she could just capture the pleasure associated with the rainbow whose pot of gold she never could find....yet she still remains...upright....without skipping a heartbeat....ready for the next leap of love
