Even though gmmtv has been negligent when it comes to the promotion -or the general acknowledgement of the existence- of 23.5 the show is so good from the story to the cinematography that you can tell the actual team working on it put so much love and care into the show.

Thoughts on 23.5 episode 8

Sun is the biggest flirt ever and its hilarious. Also her telling Ongsa to make a move then interrupting her everytime she tried was evil but that scene where she was blushing out side her door was cute.

Aylin and Luna are perfect

Also Ton is really cute and wholesome. If you look up himbo in the dictionary he pops up

I feel bad for Ton though. That scene with Mawin and Ton was so pathetic I feel bad for laughing

Ongsasun's first kiss was so perfect. That nose rub was everything to me. Milklove are officially in their girlkisser era. Love that for them.

Alpha saying she wants them to talk to her about stuff is valid. But when they tried to talk to her about kissing and relationships she brushed them off and didnt answer their questions. Alpha my wife pick a struggle please.

One discussion that always irks me is the whole "bl is more popular because girls aren't into girls" thing because while its is true it has the same energy as white book reviewers saying they cant read poc books because they "cant relate". I'm a lesbian and I watch and enjoy bl even though there's literally nothing there for me on the attraction end. I can also watch and enjoy hetero stuff if it's written a certain way. You can argue that i watch bl to support my fellow gays and that i can watch hetero stuff because its the default and we are all raised on it anyways. But honestly its just because I'm there for the story and the development of the characters and the romace regardless of the genders of the main characters. Who I'm attracted to has little impact on that. So the real reason the girls cant watch gl and think every gl is automatically terrible is internalized homophobia. This isnt me advocating to try and force or shame people into watching gl because they wont like it and will probably just leave shitty reviews but we should really start calling their stance what it is. Homophobia.
