My Japanese School + exams are over!( 私たの日本の学校+きまつしけんおわるよ!)
下手な日本語ごめんなさい:(
Anyways...I just wanted to give you more info about my school. This is a map of the campus.

Wow- it is huge. Coming from a city school the whole aspect of a 'campus' is quite overwhelming. My normal school is very small and is basically an apartment building (this is what most private schools are like in New York.)
I can't wait to go but it is very overwhelming at the same time. I wonder if I will make friends or if I'll just be the 'weird' exchange student. Anyways, either way the experience will definitely be interesting.
I just bought some uniforms that match the description they sent me-although the skirts I bought aren't nearly as long. But, I'm fine with that (he hehe.)
Also, I was looking at the school website and they have this really cute thing. It is basically "a day in the life of a high school student at our school." It is so cute!
In other news- I finished all my exams. This year I was lucky since I only had Science, Math, and English. Too bad that two out of three of those are my 'trouble' subjects.
Today, I had science (chemistry to be more specific). I legit was murdering that test. It was begging for mercy. The proctor called out the 'fifteen minutes left' mark and I was feeling pretty confident. So-I checked over my stuff and that's when I realized I had a whole page of unanswered problems. (HEAD DESK)
This gif represents my feels-
Anyways-the moral of this story is...CHEMISTRY IS SATAN REINCARNATE.
Now to get back to AFS-
My mom told me that I should write down some of my goals on this blog-that way more people will see them and I will be able to be more accountable for them. Also, when I look back on my experience I will be able to see where I started out-
So...Goals
1.Become fluent (まだペラペラしゃべられない。)
2.Meet new friends. (新しい友だちに会う。)
That's all~Sorry for the super long post but idgaf (jk,jk, -_-)
P.S Also, if you have any questions about AFS I am a volunteer for the program so just ask me anything you would like to know and I will try to answer it.
P.P.S AND, if any of you AFS summer Japanese program kids know where you are going i'd like to know! Maybe we will be near each other! :)
バイバイ!DFTBA :0

My first post( 私の一番ポスト)
Hey guys! Just a brief intro to this blog-
I am doing a summer exchange with AFS-USA in Sapporo, Hokkaido. I went last summer with AFS (American Field Service if you don't already know) to Japan as well but stayed in Tokyo so this is such a change! I am so excited. Honestly, discovering AFS has been the best thing that has happened to me. I think that going abroad honestly has changed me as a person...but enough with that cheesy stuff.
I will be going to school at Ritsumeikan Keisho Senior High School. I looked it up and it seems legit as well as being really large and daunting (that's what she said--haha I need to stop while I'm ahead).
I also get to wear a uniform~
This is all for real now-I am kinda worried though since I have been slacking with my- "I'm gonna learn Japanese for ten minutes every day!" thing. I'll start again after exams-
