By creating a modern-day witch costume I want to focus on how witches have morphed throughout the ages but the legacy of violence and suppression still exists.

The green colors represent how the witch as an archetypal figure has changed over the years developing into something positive, whereas the red color represents the witch burnings and the violence that is historically attached to being a witch.
