The History of Assassin’s Creed

1. The Birth of the Brotherhood

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has grown into one of the most successful video game series of all time. From the original game released in 2007, to the newest installment which came out in 2017, Assassin’s Creed has been loved and played by gamers all over the world.

The birth of Assassin’s Creed can be traced back to a young man named Patrice Désilets. After college, he was looking for a career that would allow him to make games that were as big and ambitious as his imagination could conjure up. He had a degree in Fine Arts but felt like he didn't want to waste his time doing something like drawing buildings or designing furniture for other people.

2. "The Renegades" - The Ezio Trilogy

I will be exploring the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise and how it has played a role in shaping the world we live in today.

The Assassin's Creed series provides a fantastic opportunity to explore how technology can be used to change our lives. For example, in the newly released Ezio Trilogy, players can access an online database that contains information on all known targets and their hideouts. The database allows players to see where and when they can find their target or search for people who are at risk of assassination. This use of technology is important because it allowed for more fluid gameplay by removing some restrictions on what Ezio could do during his missions.

3. The American Revolution - Connor's Tale

Connor is a member of the Mohawk tribe by birth. He is an Assassin, and his actions serve as a driving force for the American Revolution.

Connor was born in 1756 in Kanatahséton, a small village near the Mohawk River in the northeastern corner of New York. However, he was abducted by British forces when he was just 10 years old and spent the next 12 years of his life as an indentured servant in colonial Boston. In 1776, Connor returned to his homeland to find that it had been ravaged by war against British colonial forces.

4. Revelations - The War Within

Revelations, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag all take place in the 18th century.

The AC series has always been based on a fictional history, but Revelations takes this to the next level by taking place during the French Revolution. The story is more focused on Desmond Miles's adventures in 2012 than Ezio Auditore Da Firenze.

5. Revolution and Unity

The game is about a man named Desmond Miles who is a descendant of a line of assassins. The game begins in the year 2012 when Desmond's ancestor, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, is killed by his former mentor, Abbas Sofian.

There are two main themes that are explored in Assassin’s Creed. One theme is unity while the other theme is revolution. Unity can be seen as a connection between different people that want to work together for the good of society. Whereas it can also be seen as one person unifying all their power to gain complete dominance over society. Revolution, on the other hand, can be seen as an uprising against those who have too much power over society and those who enforce their will over others without any feelings or empathy towards them.
