Sketchbook update.

Just got back from an amazing, exhilarating Mardi Gras in NOLA with some beyond lovely gal pals. Had my phone swiped right out of my latched bag the first night I was there and without a computer the rest of the trip I was unable to post. It felt strange, having only a sketchbook and pen to briefly document this trip full of so many colors, textures, and notable people. I would like to say it allowed me the freedom to live in the moment, but that’s noise. Sketching takes time and my memory is fleeting. No camera, no reference. 

I loved this trip down South. In the coming patterns I will do my best to recreate what I can from such a stimulating experience.
