List of Sims 4 skills
All right, this took a few days to compile and I'm hoping it is complete as of the Crystal Creations Stuff Pack (or today's date whichever is easier to remember). I plan to update this as new skills become available and will then post the date at the top of this post.
Notes about this list: - I did not include hidden skills - I have tested this on a completely new, mod-free save. - Most of the skills were tested using skill books, but a few required an object to learn. {For example for my teen to learn writing it required the journal. Not sure if the computer would work or not) - All children skills were obtained at skill lvl 1 for Creativity, Mental, Motor, and Social. I did not need to max them to learn the listed skills - These are sorted by what age the skill unlocks - Mods might change the availability time of some skills depending on the mod - Lastly, and most importantly, I'd like to thank ThatSimsLady for her mass copypasto'ing for me and SrslySims for her pack abbreviation resource tool. Without them this skill guide would have taken a LOT longer to create.

A Landscaping Challenge
A very long time ago (or is that in the future? I can never keep track of silly timey wimey stuff like that) a woman gave birth to four fae children. Each of these four would come to (did come to?) be known for the four different aspects in your current time. The land they settled on would come to house the Langraab family? Or they might have lived there long ago... Man keeping track of time is difficult. So what is the challenge you might ask? (Or have you asked already? Time to pull out the diaries.) Well here's the rules to follow.
Rules:
1. Download the lot here
2. Place it in the Affluista Mansion lot in Oasis Springs.
3. The "fae" are any race you want them to be (no you don't have to make a family unless you want. You do need to figure out what each of the four represent (For example: Air, earth, fire, water; spring, summer, fall, winter; north, south, east, west; child, teen, adult, elder). It doesn't matter what you pick as long as you can represent it somehow using one of the corners for each.
4. Each corner must have a separate entrance to the outside but has to be able to be locked against the other 3
5. The central are is available if you want the four to be able to interact with each other.
6. If you want a chance for your lot to make it into my game, no CC allowed except for Ravasheen's stuff. Others you would need to ask me to see if I use it or not.
A guide to the musts, mays, and may nots for time travel.
The Household (optional):
1. All four sims must be the same species but don't have to be the same gender (or gender rules).
2. All four must be siblings (no step or half siblings)
3. Try to make each one represent their element and the corner they belong in. Both in clothing and traits/aspirations.
The House:
1. You may not change the size of the house on the first floor.
2. Each building needs to be able to meet all of a sims needs.
3. You may build up from the initial floor.
4. The building must complement the outdoors.
The yard:
1. You may design it however you want, flowers, harvestables, toys, whatever as long as it's a good representation of the aspect.
2. You must make sure a sim can get into the yard from outside without using another corner, and that sim must be able to enter the building.
Money:
Each corner has up to 100K to spend on it. That includes both inside and outside.
Final Thoughts:
Let me know what you think of this challenge. I'm always self conscious about sharing my thoughts. Please respond if you're going to do this. Would love to see your takes on this challenge.

Grandma's House Shell Challenge
Growing up, I was enchanted by my Grandparent's house. It was a split level house and everything was half levels. Since you can't easily connect two different floor heights, remaking their house on the Sims was quite a challenge. Thankfully there is the platform tool so I used the heck out of it when building their house.
This house was bought for a large family; 2 parents, 6 teens (2 of the 6 were twins). So I will warn you It is big. Thankfully the challenge rules are easy. I'm going to show some pics and let you learn my legend for what each room was used for.
Tumblr media
The basement:
The single bed denotes a bedroom, the pile of clothes show where the laundry hookups are, the shelf denoting a pantry. Bookshelves were built in (which is why they're against a wall here), toilet was 3/4 (no tub), and chest and toy show this was a toy storage/overflow area.
Tumblr media
Main Floors:
The front door is where we entered the house into the entry hall. There is a coat/show closet there to try and control the chaos (didn't work well once the grandkids started coming round at holiday time). To the right of the entry hall is the sunken formal sitting room. Kids were rarely allowed here. From the Sitting room you can go up to the formal dining room. Although I haven't shown it all here, there was enough room for a family of 8 to eat as well as a sideboard and folding table for those delicious Christmas treats. From the dining room, you go to the Kitchen which had an eat in nook area. From the kitchen you once again go into the entry hall. Downstairs from the kitchen was the family room with built in fireplace. and that led to the garage. The garage had a built in workshop and a set of stairs to the basement.
Tumblr media
The Upper Floors:
The double bed shows the master bedroom which has a full bathroom off of it. The bathroom also connected to the landing which had another bedroom on it. Up a half flight of stairs was another two bedrooms and full bath.
So yeah, that's a peek at how my grandparents used the house.
Now for the challenge rules. There's not many
There is no money limit, use however much you want. This was my grandparents' house and I would like to see what people can do with it.
Requirements:
1. The house must be functional for a Household size of 8 sims.
2. Have fun.
You may not:
1. No moving or removing walls, the fencing inside may be changed but may not be replaced
2. no changing platform heights
3. No changing the hill in the front yard.
You may:
1. Use all the terrain paint you want
2. Manipulate any terrain except for that affected by the hill
3. Replace the bushes hiding the terrain change
4. Replace the stairs as long as the new stairs go in the exact same spots (no ladders)
Find the shell here:

Welcome
So, recently I was asked if I had posted anywhere the decoration challenge I had given to a twitch streamer and honestly I hadn't done it anywhere but a discord channel so I decided to give in and actually stat a tumbler where I post each of the Challenges I do ... or at least some of the builds. Before I do any of that though, I wanted to introduce myself and all that.
So, I'm Sarah (at least online). I consider myself practically ancient compared to everyone else (Gen X), but I do get along well with most people. I am a single mother of two. My youngest has Down Syndrome and I talk about him all the time. My eldest is awesome, but I try to respect their privacy. I have three cats, no dogs yet, and they are my babies. I am always willing to chat with people, but due to my age I prefer voice over typing. Like I said, I'm old. So I'm sure there's more but I can't think of anything right now. So welcome to my tiny corner of the internets. Oh, I'm tayanera on sims gallery so don't be surprised by the different name :)
